    Hope I´m right here:

    Just one question…

    If someone buys a trading system via Marketplace, how can the buyer input his individual position size and maybe in addition choose the option of automatically reinvest the strategyprofit?

    In the case of our bots you can make the decision to act with Money Management or without Money Management.

     

    You only have to read the description of our products and activate or deactivate the function within the code.

     

    However, we will soon carry out an update to make it even easier for the user to understand how to act with or without MM.

    Code of automatic strategies remain visible for users, so users can change any settings directly in the code or preferably in the optimization settings window, with fixed settings.

    Anticipating the question about protection of code:

    To hide the strategy to clients, in order to protect your IP, you can use trading signals located in separated indicators with CALL Instructions. All indicators that are called this way will remain invisible to clients in their platforms.

    At Skynet we would like to create an “optimization configuration window”, a SELECTION WINDOW, but we don’t know how to do it. Our intention is that the users of a way as simple as possible to choose the options of our bots.

    Set your variables with fixed period people can change with a user friendly interface in the optimization window (picture attached). It prevents users to modify the code if you don’t want to.

    Ok,

     

    let´s say I have programmed an indicator “xyz” and like to hide it in the script.

    Example:

    if close crosses over “xyz” then

    buy at market

    endif

     

    Do I need to provide the indicator “xyz” to the buyer, too?

    Do I need to send the code to the buyer, too? –> well, this wouldn´t make sense, would it?

     

    So where from does the CALL – Option get it´s code?

    When you sell a product through the marketplace, you don’t have to send anything. Installation is made client side with an unique serial number received after purchased: How to install a product from the marketplace

    Products from sellers are registered in the marketplace database, everything is explained in the vendor documentation available when you register as a vendor 🙂

    Regarding  your example, your code should be more like:

    When installing the product, the client will automatically get both the strategy and indicator installed on his/her platform. The “MySignals” indicator will remain invisible to him (not present in the indicators list).

    Let me please ask you one more question before providing my trading systems…

     

    Do I need to program an expiration date of the system, if I want to charge, let´s say quarterly? Or does the marketplace license expire automatically and I can choose the expiration time?

    The license system handles the expiration by itself. You can choose the renewal period in weeks/months/years.

    Backtest of 1M units

    I think that a strategy which crosses all the situations encountered while remaining positive over the long term proves his solidity with a backtest of 1M units that, both for the gains and for the max drowdown. A strategy can be optimized and win in the short term, but there is nothing to indicate that it does not risk big setbacks (which we have certainly all experienced in our tests …).

    If the called program is not present in the indicators list, how does the calling program use the called program ?

    Is there actually a way to have your own systems sold under license? So that you don’t act as a seller yourself, but pass on your systems, i.e. your intellectual property, to a third party, who then sells or rents these systems on the marketplace? Is there any interest in this at all?
    I hope I didn’t express myself misleadingly.
