    hi,

on IG platform (demo and Real) you can set if you want receiving mail when each strategy open/close/modify position. You can set if you want mail only from real account and no from demo and viceversa or all. In my platform I have set to receive mail only from real account. PRT don’t send any mail. Thanks

I agree with this, no obvious opt-in/opt-out parameter which you can set in PRT as opposed to IG.

I sent PRT a email asking for it (I did not know they did not propose it, I just thought I was not able to find it – I used to be with IG) and they asked me if I wanted them to manually implement this function – which they did.

Now I receive an email for every position modified on my real accounts as well my demo one.

    Hope this helps,

    B

@Mark @Volpiemanuelw @barnabebear Perhaps I did not explain it right: I can receive an e-mail from IG for opening or closing a trade, any modification on a trade or if the Price fulfills an IG indicator or level, but NOT if a special indicator on PRT fulfills the desired level or condition.

But the alert on the standard PRT has this possibility (also with an SMS), however not the PRT from IG.

Just to confirm, 2 questions please …

    1. We can leave TS running in Live even if they not appear on the list in Post 1 of this Thread? The code will not allow a trade outside of the seasonally favourable periods?
    2. TS only need ‘changing over’ next time TS appear on the list in Post 1 (following re-optimisation which will include the most recent seasonally favourable period in which the TS traded?)?

Hope above makes sense, if not just say?

    Many Thanks
    GraHal

Mark, I prefer to have a cooper robot for Feb and one for Jun2/Jul1.

    #24971

    @Emanuelle

Yes, all Pathfinder swing robots trade only the long side in daily timeframe. Wheat robot based on the related mini future 25 Euro and trade 2 lots. That’s to much for an 10k account and I have reduced it to 1 lot. Please reload the last version from the first post.

MIB position closed with 690 Euro gain, Platinium position opened at 1003

    @GraHal

yes, the robots trade only in the intended period. Please be aware that some robots also trade for some periods e.g. wheat  will trade from Feb2 until April2. I always have only the current robots active.

    Hi guys

In my IG demo the platinum trade was closed with the message “Stopdistance to far from current market level”. Anyone else got this? Ideas how to fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hey Reiner,

results of system are looking good so far 🙂

Any updates about the date you want to go public with your wikifolio?

    regards, Flo

    Hi Reiner,
Why Bund/FGBL and OMX are not in the list for this period ? They are well rated in the Roadmap for F2.
Palladium is also a future contract “Palladium (Mini 20) (MAR-17)” in the list. Why didn’t you choose “Palladium (1 contract) (MAR-17)” ?
For Bund, is it “Bund (Mini 2€) (MAR-17)” or “Bund (Contrat 1€)” ?
Thank you for your help !
    Arno

Flo, it’s still to early. We have just 6 weeks track record and I want to have at least 6-12 month. Currently we have really good conditions for Pathfinder breakout algo but I want to see the behavior also under stormy conditions comming probably in Q2/Q3.

    #25088

Arno, backtest for Bund and OMX wasn’t so good for the next period. A 1 € mini contract is not available for palladium. 20 € is the smallest one.

    Reiner,
    Ok thanks.
With Cocoa performance from 2006 to 2017 for exemple, I’m a little perplexed with this hilly curve. Is it well Cacao New York (Contrat 1€) ?
    What do you think ?

    Thanks,
    Arno

Arno, cocoa has a strong down trend and no sign of recovery. It’s totaly oversold but the fundamentals are also bad (good harvest means lower prices and additional its related to the weak british pound) – its probably a loser.

Don’t look at a single trade. Pathfinder offers a unique statistical model with an edge and when you make many trades it’s only a question of time that you get profitable 🙂

Successful trading is only statistic find a method with an edge and repeat things that are profitable thats all.
