In this topic I’d like to publish all Pathfinder swing trading algorithms. The swing trading robots based on the Pathfinder daily code and are adapted to the monthly saisonality introduced with the original Pathfinder Trading System. Each month was separated in two parts (day 1 – 15 and 16 – 31) and the saisonal behavior was determined. The idea is to check twice a month for which instruments Pathfinder swing TS find a promising setup based on historical tests. Pathfinder swing robots running in demo account will deliver the trade signal or can trade automaticly in life account as well. Please find attached the Pathfinder swing roadmap for almost 30 instruments. I will attach the robots for the most promising setups on this post for the current/next period. Pathfinder strategies offer a statistical advantage but are of course not a holy grail and there is no guarantee to make money with it. The systems are optimized for historical data and historical gains are not a garantee to be successful in the future. I strictly recommend to adjust the position sizes to your personal account size and try first in demo mode. The results in life trading will differ from the backtest results. I also recommend to start in life trading with a small account size. Anyone can use the programs for free and at their own risk. Pathfinder swing is my privat and fully transparent algorithmic trading project exclusively implemented for ProRealTime 10.2. thanks for your awnser.

I know about the mail function of IG, thats what i wanted to use, too. How long are you usings the demo account with PRT? Do you have all data down to 1min-charts?

I think i will write them again.

@Wisko Do you have a Live account with IG? Cos if you haven’t then the IG PRT Demo account is ‘trial only’ for a few weeks … 1 month I think, but could even be 2 weeks?

@Reiner, I think it would be nice to have a note, either in the filename or in the code, regarding the value of one mini contract.

It seems like it differs between the different countries.

@GraHal @Wisko I have a live account at IG and they told me the same as Wisko says: it’s not posible to have this demo account.

How can we play with PRT demo account?

@Petrus to clarify what you are saying … you have a Live SB & CFD account with IG, but IG won’t allow you to have a linked / related Demo SB & CFD account??

@GraHal: Yes, I have a Live account with IG and my impression was what you mean, because if I activate PRT in the demo account, ther is a cost of 30€/month if you do less tan 4 trades. But I called again IG, and they explained me that these 30€ were also not real, but “demo” money, so now I can use the demo account to play with Pathfinder.

@Reiner But they also confirmed that they do not have the alerts with e-mail. Only if you use directly PRT can you also use this possibility.

@Mark Thanks Mark, but they confirmed that neither IG nor PRT (from IG) have the possibility of e-mail alerts. Do you know a trick?

That seems strange, i receive email alerts for both my LIVE account and my DEMO account, simply by applying the notifications in IG settings menu
