Better X Trend Indicator NT 7/8 conversion to Prorealtime

  Hallo .

  I have a request to convert ” Better X Trend ” NT indicator to PRT. Request specialy to Nicolas.

  Indicator is zip file for NT7/8. It’s not able to find indicator and code in ninjatrder editor.(I don’t know why).

  I’d be very greatful if you can convert this to PRT.

  Thanks for reply.  I cant find the indicator in the NT editor(only this one missed) so I cen’t copy and post code.

  Yes ,is free but code is not available. BXtrend is missing in  in my NTeditor and code  on the  website too.

  OK ,

  it’s not so important but it’s good tool if you know how to use it , Berry ,the creator is not.. 🙂 (I think so he don’t do real trading , only create and sell indicators and he’s sponsored by Tradestation , but some of them work well , but nobody really need them)

  The best tool that trader needs is drawing tool, SMA50  maybe Pivots HiLo or clear chart and know how it works. Good strategy. Don’t trade intraday and don’t see under D1.

  I went through all his stuff. As far a I understood he is doing simply the following:

  1. create volume based candle colors (longcandle AND high volume)
  2.  set trailing lines at highest High/lowest Low of colored bar before

  So the X-trend is just a band around the better volume (description here: http://emini-watch.com/free-stuff/volume-indicator/ ). As far as I remember volume was a problem in PRT which would make coding difficult (just to avoid the word impossible).

  1. Volumes are not a problem, but it is not possible to get Bid and Ask Volumes separately though ..
  2. Right! would be interesting to see correlation between the Better Volume indicator and the X trend one

  Yes, it’s copy  low of the red or magenta bullish candle , if is low of this candle higher like previous candle , it’s copy low of this previous candle.

  Highs black or magenta bearish candles too same.

  Simply something like Better Volume HiLo pivots.

  Cross zones of these ”pivots” are strong supply and demand zones.(if right periods are used..  12 months, 9 weeks , 10 days for me)

  Good stuff if volume data are quality.

  I’ve coded the better x trend for tradingview but I didn’t save the code on my computer and as a moderator banned me from that platform, I still don’t know why, I no longer have acces to the code.
