Saving Trading systems prorealtime

I’m having trouble saving my own trading systems within ProRealTime. I can write and test a program and it seems to save and appear in my list of ‘back testing & automatic Trading’ But if I close ProRealTime all my hard work is lost and it seems to have disappeared. The ‘back testing & automatic Trading’ still contains systems I have down loaded, but none of the systems I have programmed. I’m launching prorealtime from the IG platform on a mac. Am I missing something obvious? How are you supposed to save trading systems? ThanksSaving Trading

Might sound daft, but back in my early days of using PRT (4 years ago) I used to get lots of just about every weird and wonderful problems with the PRT Platform! 🙁

Now I know PRT have made various improvements. but I am convinced that my lack of problems for 2 years or so is down to my reduction of clutter on my PRT Platform.

I have the following …

1. 4 Templates stored.

2. Up to 6 Systems (often zero) stored in the Backtest and AutoTrading Window.

3. Up to 10 non running Systems (often zero) stored in the ProOrder AutoTrading.

Try it, esp Template reduction … it may solve your problem?
