I agree with you, there is no legal impediment but only a MarketPlace regulation that establishes specific rules to be able to publish a product.

The marketplace fee is 20% (VAT excluded) for each sale, there is no other fee.

This is the answer to all our questions, is it better to have hundreds of sales or just dozens of sales with professional suppliers showing Live.

Corto78 not having expressed negative opinions most likely has two algorithms that work well, those who lose money immediately say it dictated by anger, those who earn normally want to wait several months to be sure, we would like to know how they go.

This initiative is excellent, but however an Algorithm that works positive every month is impossible to exist (In LIVE), so if during the test month quadagni is an exceptional algorithm, if you lose it is a disaster.
The only one is to watch and only watch the LIVE that is published.
Then, as I have already said, there are those who play roulette and those who play with backtests.

You made me think of this idea :
You, me, anyone who feels like it and who especially has the “more” experience with AutoTrading, could apply for a demo of the algo of concern (in the end all of them) and just review it. Oh, I have fun on the thought alone;
The seller has a kind of one chance only, because a review is a review and if it is negative then bad luck (for always for that algo).

The reviewer puts all in the commonly known important perspectives and he/she actually may try to crash the algo because of bad luck etc., you losing all your money because of a too deep SL. Forward Trading with the worst possible trades. LOL. Normally I would be counting the green – now the red.

Of course reviewers can sell their services at the Market Place. An extensive review of one product for 500 euros. The review is public, so everybody profits (hopefully the seller too). The one paying the 500 euros, knows that he trades off huge losses for 500 euros. Or … that he knows that the 250 the algo cost will bring him/her infinite money.

Of course I am making fun. But it *is* a kind of idea. Personally I would go as far as investing real money in real live** (thus forward) testing. Maybe that would need more than the 500 this service costs, but maybe more contributors could stack that $ for the reviewer.

Of course Nicolas would need to provide a new kind of service (more people pay to one seller for one product), but he does not care because each time he earns 20% again.

I don’t want to be the troll here but…

An strategy X, is losing its potential with time. If there is a way to win money in this field is not with an Automatic-Trading-Strategy, it is with an Automatic way to generate Automatic-Trading-Strategies.

In other words: If someone is selling you a trading robot, show you the back test, show you the walk forward, show you the testing in paper-trading and finally show you all the profits in live trading…. well, maybe is too late for you and nothing ensure you that the robot will perform as good as it has been so far…

Therefore the good old frase: past performance do not guarantee future returns.
