Yes the results are not alike as on the 24h trading from IG.
So just open an account at IG, activate PRT and when you trade at least 4 times a month you get it free of charge. Some European countries have already upgraded to 10.3 at IG.
Not all of them.

You can not see the version of the programme on the code you posted. The code is for everone the same as provided by Reiner.
Directly at Prorealtime gives you the Complete version.

according to you the code is fit for the premium V rather than the complete one. So best thing to do is actually is subscribe for the PRT via IG. I thought there was a problem which could be caused by using different V

Trust me I am trying to make it simple and the reason I did not subscribe with IG is because I promised myself that will subscribe when get around the strategy like most of you so kept trying and realised that the different results are actually caused by using different V hahaha
will join them today then and enjoy the experience like everyone on here 🙂

@Patrick you say, Pathfinder Swing is for PRT Premium version direct from IG (not PRT Complete version via PRT sponsored via IG) … so just to be clear (seeing is believing :)) how can I see on the version I am using whether it is Complete or Premium? I have looked under About and it gives version number only (does not state Premium or Complete anywhere I’ve looked up to now).
(I’m confused because I thought the ‘Complete version is direct from IG’ and the ‘Premium version is via PRT but sponsored via IG’). Hope that doesn’t confuse readers? 🙂

If you have an account at IG and you are running PRT than you have the premium version. You can see it when you stand on the taskbar and you go with your mouse to
to the PRT icon (without clicking it) than you see your templates and the word premium. As attached.

Aha I can answer my own question again … If I / we look a few inches to the right of ‘Help’ it tells us … and yes I have the Complete version and it is direct from IG. See attached.
So now the next questions is … are the Pathfinder Swing Strategies coded for the Premium version or the Complete Version (I thought either, but Patrick says not?)

Pathfinder is coded for 24H CFD trading at IG. No more information is needed.

Well I am on PRT Complete 10.3 (direct from IG) and I am trading all the Pathfinder Strategies (10 x Daily & 6 x 4H) Live on a Spreadbetting Account.
Can anybody advise why the above is not recommended? I started the 10 x Daily on 16 Feb and the 6 x 4H on 19 Feb.

@ wp01 I agree. This is a red herring. The Complete or Premium version does not matter. I have strategies running on Complete and they work and backtest just fine, even when compared to Premium. Unless you are mixing your instruments when comparing eg Mini future vs DFB or EUR 1 contract etc then you will get differences.

I thouhgt only the UK has spreadbetting. The rest has not. I can not remember wat it was…
But if everything works with everybody there is no issue anymore i think.

Pathfinder for MDAX
Pros:
– good numbers: 397%, ok drawdown, low high loss, awesome win/loss ratio
– made good money in the crisis year 2008, where MDAX lost half of its value
Cons:
– only 82 trades since 1997
– no profit in the last two years
I will trade it.
Corn and Soybeans long at 2am.
