    @Reiner

No mention of the long Palladium position than opened yesterday at 1am? Or am I in the wrong forum 🙂

    Best regards, David

    #26010

David, I did not get a signal for Palladium in demo. Did you trade it life?

    #26011

I am trading Pathfinder PA daily V2 IRL. Do not remember where I got it. Can’t find it on the first page here or the other thread. I think you put it up in late December.

    It’s long x3 since yesterday at 1am at 773.4.

    #26012

    I trade it live Reiner.

It is the PA daily V2 and not the PA Daily F1F2 swing V1. That is probably why you did not get it.

It took yesterday position @ 773,40

I’m trading Live all the Swing V1 on IG UK Spreadbet and Corn and Wheat got rejected at 01:00 GMT Long 1 Lot size … reason: Min Spreadbet on both Corn and wheat is Lots size 15 (£15 per point).

Price had not moved much since 01:00 so – over breakfast 😉 – I opened a manual Trade of 15 Lots each for Corn and Wheat while I change the min lot size in the code.

Just saying above in case anybody else is also Spreadbetting the Swing V1??

    Cheers

    Morning GraHal,

Thank you for your contribution, I was wondering if we use CFD account instead of the Spreadbet, those two trades would have been filled?

    Regards

Do you know how to get PRT Premium via IG? For me it is only running the Complete Version…

    regards,

    arke

    #26046

@Malek Yes with CFD both corn and wheat Long today would have been filled, but as a comparison 1 Lot CFD Corn / Wheat CFD value of 1 Pip is £40.

Min Lot size 15 on Spreadbet Corn / Wheat value of £15 SB 1 pip / point is £15 and more importantly no Capital Gains Tax to pay on Profits! on Spreadbets 🙂

    Cheers

Hi – I tested the Wheat and Corn strategy in demo mode backtest but there is no position signal in the past 24hrs ? Anyone else have this problem ?

    #26101

Could someone show me the backtest result for corn? The results I get aren’t good. Don’t know what im doing wrong.

    #26104

    @Alco,

You are using the wrong ticker.

It should be the future of March instead of “C”. See right in the Pathfinder Excel print on the first page.

    Regards,

    Patrick

I’d like to inform you about the upcomming expiration of the futures which are running in ProOrder at this moment.

The futures of Wheat/Corn/Palladium are March futures and expire at February 27th. at 20:15 CET.

If they are still open at that time the futures will be rolled over by IG at 20:00 CET according to attached information.

When the March future is closed by IG, PRT will probably automaticly stop the ProOrder autotrading for this future.

This is what PRT does. Interfering in the trade will stop the ProOrder for that commodity.

But according to the rollover information IG will automaticly open a new position for the following future, in the case of Wheat is this May.

But at this moment you do not have the May future running in ProOrder. So you have to think about what you will do with that

position because it won’t be stopped by PRT.

At this moment is already the May future available for Chicago Wheat PRT. The results are good, but not as good as on the March future.

    Maybe it improves with optimalisation.

    Regards,

    Patrick

    Thanks Patrick,

But when I look at future of March, the data is very limited. The data only goes back to feb 3th. So I don’t have data to rely on. I’m also using IG like you.
