In this topic I’d like to publish all Pathfinder swing trading algorithms. The swing trading robots based on the Pathfinder daily code and are adapted to the monthly saisonality introduced with the original Pathfinder Trading System. Each month was separated in two parts (day 1 – 15 and 16 – 31) and the saisonal behavior was determined. The idea is to check twice a month for which instruments Pathfinder swing TS find a promising setup based on historical tests. Pathfinder swing robots running in demo account will deliver the trade signal or can trade automaticly in life account as well. Please find attached the Pathfinder swing roadmap for almost 30 instruments. I will attach the robots for the most promising setups on this post for the current/next period. Pathfinder strategies offer a statistical advantage but are of course not a holy grail and there is no guarantee to make money with it. The systems are optimized for historical data and historical gains are not a garantee to be successful in the future. I strictly recommend to adjust the position sizes to your personal account size and try first in demo mode. The results in life trading will differ from the backtest results. I also recommend to start in life trading with a small account size. Anyone can use the programs for free and at their own risk. Pathfinder swing is my privat and fully transparent algorithmic trading project exclusively implemented for ProRealTime 10.2. Euro Stoxx showed a strange behavior in demo mode. The algo want to buy an addition long postion (1 contract) at Sunday night and due various errors PRT set the algo to hold and sold the whole position.

Yes, same for me. Except my positions didn’t close, I know have two positions open. The original for 2 contracts and a new one for 1 contract.

I have to said that is not possible to replicate manually this system, if you trade at 8pm when you woke up, the price is not the same as demo mode.
Like cotton 18/1 24/8 i had only 450 point instead 1098 or HG 06/02 opened at 26266 i opened 26473 200 point up…

What do you think about? Only automatic trading is good for this system? Or put manually the same entry as demo mode and hope for a chance of entry?

The results were not so good, but maybe Reiner improved it.

And the AEX is also done.

Attached the the file.

Part of the codes on page one are also for Feb2, but maybe Reiner can enlighten us…..

Hi Plop61,

you’ll find the current robots at the first post of this topic. Please check the roadmap regarding CAC. CAC isn’t on the roadmap for the first half of February but for the second half of February and at the right time I’ll release the CAC version.
