It seems like I have 2 Prorealtime versions on my PC. One time one version starts up with the default template the other time the other version starts up with a different default template. This is very annoying because I think I have everything set correctly in a template, which I also save, but the other time I can’t get the template back. Who has the solution for this? Where does Prorealtime store the templates?

Hi there crom and welcome here.

Can it be so that you use a kind of virtualized environment and that PRT might think you’re on an other PC from one day to the other ?
Regarding this, please notice that PRT is able to have a different environment, literally per PC. So this is not only bound to your account.

    Does this help ?

Thanks for your answer Peter. I start PRT every day from the same computer via SAXO. Is that a virtual environment? I don’t think so but I’m not sure.

Would help me at this to moment know the place where the templates are saved. Maybe I can “change” them.

Are you referring to / starting a Live Account every day or Demo Account every day?

PRT stores Templates against separate Accounts as above.

All data is stored on PRT’s servers. It cannot be accessed other than from inside the platform itself.

Hi, you might be having saving issues of your templates. The best way to figure this out is to reach out to PRT’s support team through Help > Technical help and sending them a message.

    JS
    1. After creating a template chart, you need to save the template
    2. Now load another (random) template
    3. Now load the first custom template again and your settings are saved

Is something about refreshing the custom template…(a bug)
