Grahal – re. the preloadbars point, there is an issue in PRT. I’ve raised it before but there was no solution. The system randomly stops with the error that there are not enough preloadbars (Even though I’ve tested with 2,000 to 20,000 preloadbars) so you have to continually restart it but it runs fine sometimes. No one knows why this happens. My Dax V6 was stopped on Fri for this reason. We just have to keep monitoring.
Good to see people taking an interest in the trade monitor, some worthwhile changes being discussed and implemented, thanks.
It would be great if we could make an effort to recap all trades since start of 2017 in the trade log.
Then we will have a nice overview and filterable list in order to analyse the different instruments!
H_Kan thank you so much for entering Trades back to 24 Feb 17.
If any other kind soul wants to enter more trades back to 1 Jan 17 then feel free please.
Thanks

Another long position on FTSE at 9pm.

Hi, i’d not yet read who uploaded the tradesheet, but i think it’s an good idea, to see someone had the same positions.
But is it not better to (anyone is the admin and to) lock cells confirmed trades, or fullturned trades? In this case noone can make a wrong click.
Thanks & Regards Kurtus
@Kurtus thank you … I’ve done as you suggest.
All cells are still editable by anyone, but changes produce a warning for cells that probably shouldn’t be changed.

Don’t know about you, but my DAX 4h took 8 seconds to open that position at 1pm. It is usually not that slow.
My Dax 4H V6 did not even trigger a trade in Live – but my demo did. No error warning either so according to PRT the system is still running fine which it obviously isn’t. Very frustrating especially as PRT have not responded to my previous queries on this. Guess we just have to live with these random dropouts and trade manually. Does worry me though as confidence in the software is not high when this occurs. At least we now have the trade log to keep us updated of the positions.

@ Manel
my Dax 4h open position in 2 differents demo accounts and 1 in real account…
Thanks Ale -My backtest also shows a live position should have been opened so it’s def not the code (not that it would have been the problem anyway). I’ve written to PRT but not hopeful they will reply or find a solution. So many weird bugs these days it’s getting quite frustrating.
Hi
Have you set the right number here? It must be 15.
I have 2 position long on Dax live @ 12112
Michi
Hi – Yes the setting is correct as it takes a position in demo, the same code is not working in Live.
Morning everyone,
Can someone confirm NG long 2 contracts opened this morning?
Also I had a quick look at STXE and it shows:
maxPositionSizeLong = MAX(0, abs(round(maxRisk / (close * stopLossLong / 100) / PointValue) * pipsize))
Regards
