What contract to use for corn? Roadmap says “future $” and “point value” 25. I found a contract with 1EU mini, but I cannot backtest it since it’s too new so I’m not sure if it can be used.

September mini 25$ future.

The euro contract didn’t work well in the past. A couple of trades or not enough history. Can not exactly remember it. It is somewhere posted in the first 83 pages….:-)

wp01: Ok so the contract in the picture can be used? I thought it could only be used in september 🙂 Same with wheat then I suppose.

Yes you can use it. Futures are in most cases for 3 months. Corn expires at August 30th. at 20.15 hours. You should be aware of this when you run this or when there

is an open position.

If you open the drawdown menu for corn and go to information, you can find the expiration date if you scroll down.

You should create a favoritlist in IG where you put in all commodities like attached example. You do not have to search anymore and see in one overview the different contracts.

You can also make one for the indices.

That was also my conclusion that PA,W and C are so far the best results.

Yes it is limited, but you can take indices and commodities separate. If you want to you can also split it in soft and hard commodities.

The futures they roll over in the list.

wp01: To be clear, when using for example “Majs ($25 Minikontrakt)” I need to make sure to start it with atleast 25 contracts allowed? The reason I’m asking is that the positionsize still is 1 in the system, making me confused….again 🙂
