Palladium (20 mini) (JUN-17)
If somebody has a todo-algo attached to his name and want to do it, please let us know.
Otherwise I suggest we just work through the open algos. The earlier we got the final set for March2, the better.
@Pfeiler
I have tried to adjust the backtest for Wheat, but I have IG account and the maximum historical data it gives me right now are from May 2014, I think there are few historical data to make a reliable backtest.
Platin (EUR1 Kontrakt)
Can’t really make something rewarding out of it.
Maybe somebody else has something better? David? 😉
Removed Pathfinder-AEX-M2A1A2-V1.itf since with 3.408€ it has too high drawdown (moved to backup).
If something is not ok, please advise. Browsing through the pages is hard to read.
— done:

Is there anyway we can link the algos to the first page? Perhaps Nicolas can do this?
@Pfeiler
I tried Platinum, but I would say your version is better 🙂
Best regards, David
Ok, I had a go at some systems that weren’t done yet. I tried FTSE also, but could only get 3 trades since 1984.
@everyone
Pfeiler is now officially a moderator of the forums. Wish him a good luck in his task to maintain this topic up-to-date 🙂
Thanks Nicolas.
My vision for Pathfinder Swing is to find the perfect numbers for the instruments Reiner had in mind.
I hope we will continue to create Pathfinder Algos for instruments and periods, so in the end we can create Full-Year algos, which we can run in the following years (and hopefully earn money with it).
I am pretty sure, Reiner is still with us and is reading every line in this thread and he appreciates our efforts, to create these algos.
He invented Pathfinder, I think it is totally fair if he benefits from our work.
I try to moderate and contribute as much as I can, but (as always) time is limited.
So help from everybody is very much appreciated.
There is a lot of work to do:
April1+2, May 1+2, …. , Dezember 1+2, Full Year algos -> holy grail 🙂
@pfeiler All the best and good luck in the new task. I would like to contribute however I am very new to it and with very limited experience and knowledge of coding and optimization. If someone can help me on first task I am sure I will be able to crack on with the others and add value to this community. I recently opened an account with PRT so ready to move on, learn and contribute.
Regards
Malek
Thanks Pfeiler for stepping up to be moderator. Necessary to have someone who wants to help keeping things together in Reiners spirit and I think you will do that very well and I wish you all the best. And I’m sure that many of us will help you the best we can according to knowledge and time. Looking forward to see what we have after a full year:)
Best regards
Martin
Hi Pfeiler and David,
I made a robot for Platinium as well. I think it is slightly better than yours.
Kind regards
Oliver

It might be helpful to re-assign instruments to people, its all a bit muddled and confusing at the moment.
