    Is it worth shutting your IG account and then opening a new one via PRT?

    You need to write down why you are wanting to open a new Account via PRT.

    I’m not saying it is wring to do that, it’s just folks on here have opened a a new account via PRT and it hasn’t achieved what they thought they wanted?

    Also you would lose any Templates etc and of course you would need to back up to your PC any Indicators. Screeners and Auto-Systems before you close your IG Account.

    Just trying to add  bit of perspective that you asked for? 🙂

    You could in any case try again with a new unused email address!

    For any sponsored account opening issue, I suggest you contact ProRealTime directly. You can find their number on their website:
    https://trading.prorealtime.com/en/

    Some countries, for regulatory reasons, are not allowed to trade via ProRealTime directly.
    Therefor, customers may open an account directly through the broker to have access to the platform. Our they can change country 😉
