    Hi,

    I am trying to upgrade my account to pro I have IG as a broker. I am going through this link https://trading.prorealtime.com/en/ig.

     

    It will not save the (Yes or No) for the email preference. (Picture attached) Any suggestions would be great.

     

    I have tried clearing all cookies, firefox, Microsoft edge, chrome, 2 computers, 1 phone and it won’t work so I don’t believe it on my end.

    Have you tried opening a new account (rather than an upgrade) and at the same time use a different email address than you used on your IG Account?

    Thank you for the suggestion, I’m not really looking to have multiple accounts.  Is there any way for me to scan and email a document or maybe technical could work the bug out?

    I know it sounds weird, but others on here have found that the only way seems to be to raise another Account with an email not previously used.

    If you think about it … what you are attempting to do (I think? ) is to upgrade an Account you have with IG  into a higher level Account with another company – PRT … not surprising it won’t work?

    I tried another email that is not used on my IG. I made a demo of the Premium but am not able to launch that because when I go to do the phone verification it returns a  technical error.

    It’s surprising with a PRT account already I can’t upgrade to a higher level PRT account on the PRT website with it tied to a broker.  Is there any paper options or could technical upgrade the account? Please advice on the next course of action I need to take.

    Did you get anywhere with this? I use IG at the moment and paid for Prorealtime Pro before finding out the data was not connected to IG

    This is the response I got.

     

    Dear Mr,

    At the moment, US residents are not allowed to be sponsored by ProRealTime. We will inform you when the situation will evolve.

    I got the same response without the US part, I had even offered to pay for an upgrade

    Opening a second account via PRT just to get the extra data will surely flag a fraud check at IG

    As well as having duplicate accounts personally I would have thought it would abuse the affiliate scheme commissions that PRT will receive for the referral assuming that is why PRT give you the upgrade when opening the account via them

    So what are we saying here?

    If we have PRT Platform via an Account with IG then we cannot open another Account direct with PRT and thus have the PRT Platform running on IG data but sponsored by PRT?

    Put in a few words …

    PRT v10.3 on IG data  = Allowed.

    PRT v10.3 on IG data + PRT v11 on IGdata sponsored by PRT = disallowed?

    I’d be intrigued to see some perspectives on this – I tried setting up a PRT sponsored account (already have an account with IG) but it wasn’t allowed – I did use the same email address though. Is it worth shutting your IG account and then opening a new one via PRT?

    I’m also unsure whether the PRT sponsored version is v10.3 or v11?

    PRT sponsored is still on 10.3 and get the v11 once IG had done the upgrade.
