    A critical software vulnerability has been found a few days ago which is connected to the Apache Log4j library used in many java environments. The German government agency for data security has therefore issued a red alert for the first time in its history. More details can be found in recent press.

    Is Prorealtime affected by this security gap, and if so, will it be updated soon in order to close the vulnerability ?

    I don’t think so, but if a security breach is discovered an hot fix can be released and deployed for every client on the same day, dont worry.

    I couldn’t log in for a few hours yesterday, when I tried to log in, I was redirected and came across a site with a lot of women who wanted something… 🙂

    The OP and Nicolas are referring to PRT (trading Platform) .

    I also could not login to PRC (this website) yesterday, I didn’t follow the redirects 🙂

    Why should we worry ? ProRealtime is only for our benefit, every day and all the time.

    I have to say that there is poor communication about this.

    I couldn’t log in to the forum over the weekend and was redirected to all kinds of dubious sites without being able to do anything about it. For the next few days, my mailbox was full of spam.

    Why is there no mention of that and what was going on?

    Of course, we are worried about what else may happen and what the consequences may be.

    I see myself as a customer of PRT and IG and as a customer you are at least entitled to some information when something like this is going on.

    This website and Forums etc are PRC / ProRealCode (not PRT / ProRealTime).

    When I couldn’t login to PRC over the weekend, my antivirus popped up with a warning of a virus!

    I wished I had taken a screen shot as it may be useful to Nicolas?

    @Grahal

    I don’t mind if its PRT, PRC or something else…

    Its about poor communication about what happend there.
