Flat marked code

  Hi is there a code to calculate when the marked is “flat”?

  Eks: When the marked is not really moving but still crossing MA and other indikators causing false bye/sell orders to open.

  What I’m looking for is something that can calculate the X amount of bars and showing when there is a signifiant move up or down.

  I just need the basic and i think i can do rest.

  You can use several strategies to tell a market is ranging, some:

  • when Bollinger Bands are inside the Kelter Channel
  • when there are multiple MA crossings within the last N bars
  • when the number of pips between the highest high and lowest low of the last N bars does not exceed X pips
  • when Adx is below X
