    Hi There

Why is it not the same results in PRT Demo as in  PRT Complete with the same code in backtesting.

Ex. 5min, 100 000 units, eur/usd and same code. PRT Demo 83 trades and in PRT Complete 37 trades ?

    Why? any idea?

Maybe because of margin requirements since your position size is different, check trading hours and tick by tick mode.

Can I suggest using something to capture screen images such as ‘LightShot’ or a similar app? It makes the images a lot easier to read compared to trying to photograph a shiny screen! 🙂

Backtests show ‘wall street cash 2$’, not EURUSD. Results are different, what about contracts? Backtests made in tick mode in each platform?

    #78777

Ok but same problem in Dji as eur/usd, same contracts, both codes in tick mode.

I can attach the code later.

I think both platforms is the same

    #78779

I can try to attach the code later instead

Indeed, it should be easier to analyze and replicate it with the code.

Here are one of the codes that not says the same in demo and complete

Could it be an adjustment on the platform ?

I still not tested your code, but do the 2 platforms have the same custom hours for the instrument and with or without the weekend data included? GMT adjustment could be the cause of the differences.

I belive the custom hours and gmt is the same. The code runs over weekends

Right click in the price chart and check ‘custom trading hours’ in both platform.
