Hello all, a question on the title topic.

Do people find this function useful as configured, being a limit order?  I would dearly love to be able to use this feature, but for day trading Nasdaq/NYSE at the open, it’s too clunky and slow.  It would be nice to have an alternate configuration available, as many of us use in North America.  The way we use it, a double click on the chart will load the stop price where selected, and hitting a hotkey (StreamDeck or equivalent even better) will transmit a market order immediately.  Automatic share size is calculated based on the target $ as before, say $100, and the difference between the stop price and the price of the market order just before transmission.  I use preprogrammed hotkeys with levels already set as shown.  All those buy/sell keys are active only on the ticker for the active window.

Of course, a legitimate question is why not just use what’s there now?

    Speed.

With the method I’m talking about, I can get an order filled in 5 seconds max, from the time I see a ticker on my scanner, type it in (or have it autoloaded depending on the system) and get the chart up, double click a stop and hit buy/sell.  Critical for trading open, and generally nice all around.

Thoughts on why this isn’t available now?
