AMD or Intel for ProRealtime backtest ?

Hi guys, I appreciate this is a difficult question to answer as most people don’t have two systems running concurrently but I’m looking to upgrade my prorealtime platform from an i7 laptop to a desktop to try and get through the optimisations quicker but out of touch with desktop support. The gist from google is that AMD is better at multithreading these days would that translate into it being quicker at doing backtest optimisations ? Thanks in advance, Kovit .

It will not impact backtesting time as they are made server side, no ressource from your computer is used at all during backtests.
