Nothing happens before the weekend, if they manage to fix it properly, otherwise we’ll have to wait until next weekend. I think it’s difficult to fix, otherwise everything would already be working. Keep in mind that discretionary trading is fully functional and the vast majority uses it, so those who use algorithms at IG probably don’t matter.

I only became aware of the problems last week. I’m with IG (UK) and run around 50 systems across four accounts. At the moment I can’t load PRT or stop systems, it shows the “We are actively working on an issue affecting the instrument universe” message.
I’m looking into alternative platforms and brokers because my confidence is slipping. I’d prefer to stay with PRT, but only if the issue is resolved quickly, and an explanation provided. I’ll then reduce my account size and trade more cautiously.

Thank, I can now log in. For the last two days when I clicked x on the message, the launch window also closed. At a glance systems are running as normal. I’ll try some back tests later today and see if I can replicate any of the issues that have been reported.
I was able to reconnect. But the algos didn’t come back. Do you know who I should contact that is important for me, thank you.
No algorithm can be used except those on the Dax; everything else is unusable until everything is fixed, because even if you see them, they’re completely wrong. In my opinion, it will take a long time; maybe they’ll give us a Christmas present.
I’ve spent a couple of hours on PRT today and everything appears normal on my side. My systems have continued to run as expected this month, as far as I can tell. For reference, I’m on a UK spread betting account (not CFDs) with IG, and all instruments are DFBs.
I re-ran back tests on DAX, US 500 (S&P 500), US Tech 100 (Nasdaq 100), some FX pairs, and Tesla. All results matched the detailed back test data I had stored from previous weeks or months.
As a precaution, I’ve paused most of my systems. I’ll be speaking with my IG account manager tomorrow and will continue to monitor.

So you take any operation the algorithm performs as correct without any way to check it, just because they told you it works. But how can they know your algorithm works if it’s all wrong? It seems crazy to me to use it.
