Algo stopped Position closed

So it’s definitely the time setting… maybe daylight saving time? But I haven’t changed any of those settings. It’s still “PC… UTC+2.” What time do I have to set the US indices to now? What did PRT change?

Ive gotten my history back and started all my algos again, some are taking trades already..   Looks like things are working again?

I tried to compose something for you which may be helpful for further determination. First off, whether all is stalled or not is quite difficult to see these (last) days, because the updating of the “Dagwinst” does not work any more over the weekend. Thus, this shows as 0,00 at the opening (at our 00:00) and it stay like that for several hours. Now, (~ 05:00) it works, but it will be reset at 06:00 (if all is right – it was like that each day last week and is new under the new “US Times” regime that IG now uses). The reset moment is not much related, but the frozen gain of 0,00 may feel like stalling. On a side mote : the daily gain now this resets at 06:00 (am) which also means that people usually won’t see what happening for profit over night. Today this is “massive” (when you were Long) but now at 06:30 it’s all gone). Then, in the first picture below you see NASDAQ 1€ with 1in the left an old screenshot from after close last Friday (23:00) and in the right of that picture you see the opening last night at 00:00. The pending order at 24.188,7 was obtained up to the decimal at 00:00:18. You can see this in the 2nd pic on the 2nd line. Thus spot on. Although there was more to look at during the opening (other accounts) I did not notice any freezing in the IG account. In the 3rd and 4th pic (they belong to each other) it goes different. This is US 500 (SPTRD) and the intended price of 6.549,02 turned out to be an Entry Price of 6.620,02. So a miss of 71 points which is a lot in this case (my math tells me EUR 3.408). Regarding the time of Entry (00:00:33 – see in 2nd pic first line) I don’t deem this slippage, but something stalled indeed. Point in this situation for me would be : both systems are the very same and only act upon a different instrument. So if one can do it to the decimal, the other should not be late 71 points … Also notice that the Entry was there the second bar (thus see 4th picture in the right) and thus during the first bar totally nothing happened – however the bar was there. Thus, no prices frozen (which, again, I also did not notice during that period of time), but instead the typical behavior of IG turning manual (which they do at high volatility).

I don’t think anything’s happening here anymore. My demo account history is still missing. And because of the changed time of day and the changed H4 candles, there was never an official statement. Communication here is very, very limited.

Are you saying you have 100 Algos that have not appeared back in your Demo / Live Account after the recent problems, so 100 of your Algos have vanished?

From October 9 (2025) : I contact you back regarding the two issues you had reported on Octobre 1st. First of all, we apologise for the delays caused by the new situation, which has involved a huge amount of work that we have tried to complete as quickly as possible. Regarding the issues reported, here is our response: 1. The issue concerning the number of systems listed in the ‘Not running’ section should be resolved. Regarding your question about the consequences that these changes may have had on ProOrder,  the main effect  is certainly the fact that the indices concerned are linked to new US markets and therefore follow US trading hours. In this context, the instrument’s time zone now more accurately reflects the reality of the market. Prior to the migrations, IG had linked these instruments to the “global index” markets, alongside other instruments using the London time zone. The move of these instruments to the US market has changed the time zone and therefore the configuration of their trading day. We understand that this situation may be difficult for users. As we are unable to reverse this change, we recommend the following two actions, which will bring the current behaviour closer to the previous one, without restoring the previous management of (x)hours and (x)days candles exactly:

• Change the time zone of the market concerned.
• Adapt the elements based on hours in the ProBuilder code.

Of course, we remain at your disposal to assist you if you have any questions. I would also like to thank you for your support and trust over the past few weeks, which have been very challenging for both you and us. You know about this because I already told about this a couple of days earlier than Oct. 9. You participated in the thread where this was explained to someone else. Unfortunately I can not find that thread any more. Then in *this* thread (the one you are looking at right now) I told about by formal and direct contact with PRT in Paris, and I copied a similar text from the same person at PRT’s. I did not tell about the quote from my last post, because people seem not interested in such texts (this includes you). You may recall me telling about the sheer reason why IG applied this change ? this was about avoiding Daylight Savings differences between the USA and Europe. Completely stupid if you ask me, but that is for another thread. You may recall me telling about the reset time of IG now being 6am in the morning (our time) ? Maybe I dreamt that one or I only planned to mention that. 😉 Something else : the well meant advice of the person from PRT in the quote I gave you, is beyond me. I mean, I would not know how to deal with such a thing as “equaling” the former time difference of 5 hours or whatever it was when (incorporate Daylight Savings), but the quote also suggests this is not possible. Fact is : the deed is done and it won’t be reversed. My personal suggestion : IG is crazy. Not figurative, they just are for real.
