Try using the $1 contract instead of the €1 contract. the results are still littel bit different than the old one but much better than 1 €.

I stopped all my algos. its your own money. i dont think IG will give you any compensation for it.

1$ ist not available with Nasdaq.

Not sure if you mean demo, but on live I do see Nasdaq €1 and $1, both tradable manual no issues. Algo side idk, not crazy enough to algo trade right now LOL..
What’s frozen is DAX (€1) manual on PRT. On IG platform works fine. Looks like IG EPICs still not matching with PRT EPICs or smth.

I´m pretty sure everyone here is concerned about automatic-trading-systems.

They might be tradable manually but they do not work as intented for automatic trading neither backtest [not even startable with automatic systems].

    PRT now added

We are actively working on an issue affecting the instrument universe.

Following the incident on instrument universe affecting your platform and your trading,
we are migrating Order & Position history, ProOrder Strategy as well as On-Graph technical analysis.

Hopefully what they mean with ProOrder Strategy is that systems soon can be startable. And I hope that fixing that is on their prio list. History, on-graph analysis can come later.

Now im my life account is running dax algos an one NS100 algo. The dax algo works and and produce the same results as in the backtest of the live account. The aktiv NS100 algo didn’t start in the live account, but it did in the backtest.

However, the backtest results from the past don´t match my results in live trading.

    #251059

Dax algos have been fine since end of last week.

First you say run on NS100 then you say it didn´t start?

First you say run on NS100 then you say it didn´t start?

In real it didn´t start, in backtest it runs.

When I look at my systems now—I’m talking about the live account, specifically the €500 SP1—the systems in H4 and M1 match what I consider to be acceptable. The systems on the same instrument in M15, on the other hand, don’t match at all. I haven’t figured out why yet… perhaps tick-by-tick data is missing?

    #251082

The concerning part about all this is they´re trying to solve the epic + locacle. Which is not an issue anymore, but they do think it is. So they´re probably spending all time there. But it does not even exist anymore as it is only one market.

They still think we do have duplicated markets so their recommendation is go through IG site.

    #251084

So they´re probably spending all time there

Send IG an email and ask for confirmation that IG are not doing above (also tactfully explain why)?

An email to IG can’t do any harm and may do some good!?

    #251086

I called PRT yesterday explaining this, and I have been in permanent contact with IG.

But still I got this email from PRT recently.

Is there anyone whose backtests of their systems match what they were doing before? For me, an open-range breakout on M15 looks so bad within a day that it’s only in losses. It was definitely a very good system before, and it also performed well live. So there’s still something wrong with the data. @Nicolas Is there an official update?

    #251089

@phoentzs. Their focus is to solve EPIC error which does not occur anymore!

    – Just kidding..

Either they have very bad communication problems or they have no clue what´s  happening.

Either way, I hope it get fixed soon (today).

looks so bad within a day

    1.  Do you mean … what showed as good up to 2 weeks ago is still showing as good?  Also, all shows as bad since 2 weeks ago?

    OR

    2.  Do you mean … what showed as good up to 2 weeks ago is now showing as bad?  Also, all shows as even worse
since 2 weeks ago and / or even worse since the last few days?

Since today I am in written contact with PRT in France (2nd line support).  They handed me the same guide as Nicolas gave and which can not work for me (see post yesterday somewhere). So someone out there thinks that this guide can work for people, and someone I think is someone at PRT – not Nicolas who only passed on the guide (and if not, he will correct me).

Yesterday I have been on the phone quite extensively about all this with normal (1st line) support of PRT (thus not IG) and from there I learned that a. everybody is working very hard to solve the problems, but that at least PRT 1st line support has no clue what the problems are. I think this is a bad sign in itself.
Anyway, from this phone call -me being very persistent in showing that the problems are beyond PRT’s knowings- sprung this now on-going email conversation, but I don’t know what it will really bring. One thing is clear though : it is not only IG working on it (are they still ?) because PRT herself is all in it too. They have to, because it is about the huge effort of Symbol Mapping. So a small heads up :

It is indeed a very complex process.
Apart from the work involved in transferring order and position, ProOrder… histories now, we need to resolve the issue of EPIC rejections. We are now displaying informative messages on the platform’s launch page regarding the progress of corrections.

On a maybe not unimportant side note and the last sentence above : Yesterday I urged that PRT herself should show involvement, no matter it is a shared effort with IG. I told “we did not receive a single email from you !”. And then the surprise : “But Peter we do not possess the email addresses of IG customers”.
    aha

Is there anyone whose backtests of their systems match what they were doing before?

Only my DAX systems produce the same results in the backtest as before the software change.

    #251094

But Peter we do not possess the email addresses of IG customers”.

Above is why I have stated on several occasions (when encouraging PRT Users to email direct to PRT with problems & improvements) that in order to stand a chance of a reply from PRT, we must use an email address that is registered direct with PRT (NOT USE an email address which is registered to IG).

I have proved my statement above to myself by …

    a. Often getting confirmation and replies (from PRT) to my email registered direct with PRT (for their free daily Account)

    b. Never getting replies (from PRT) to my email registered with IG.

My conclusion (could be wrong?) is that in the PRT contract with IG … even when we email direct to PRT using our IG registered email, that PRT cannot or will not reply to such IG registered email addresses.
