Four more strategies stopped this weekend on one of my demo accounts. I guess IG decided to stop communicating with PRT for a while again. No orphaned trades so I guess they all had 11 rejected buy orders.
me too…, I had a lot of rejected orders last night/this morning, resulting in 3 bots being stopped.
The problem becomes recurrent and more and more frequent. This is problematic is not reassuring. It would be nice if it could be reassembled in a grouped way to PRT / IG …
Me too, some stopped since last Friday due to lots of rejected orders (demo account)
We should bear in mind that this is happening only on Demo. IG gives low priority to the demo platform – which they will let you know in most of their replies to any demo platform issues.
As far as I am aware their are no reports of issues on live accounts.
Yes it would be great if the demo platform was as reliable as the live platform as I am sure it would give more traders the confidence to switch from demo to live – but IG’s policy is what it is and we just have to take it into consideration when strategies are stopped on the demo platform.

I can’t help thinking that above may be due to loads less Systems running on Live and so the probability of occurence is lower?
Also would require any Live user who had Rejects for the ‘NO Reason’ reject message to be bothered to share with us / tell us tell us on this Topic etc.
For the record I had over 120 Rejects over the weekend (not 120 Systems) most with the No Reason message.
The 120 Rejects I mentioned above were all on one Account only.
Just been through 4 Accounts (SB and CFD each for me and wife) and I had a few orphan Trades and 22 Orphaned Buy Stop Contingent Orders … all for the same DJI Price (see attached).

We are dependant from IG ordering service. Sometimes they are not answering our order requests with a direct impact for client.
- Stretegy places an order;
- IG does not responde after 10 attempts. The order status becomes REJECTED;
- Strategy is stopped.
To avoid this issue we have extended the order placing from 1 to 10 seconds however we can’t do much more then this as it is an IG “issue”.

It can sometimes be like playing a game of tennis with each side batting the problem back and forth between each other. At some point it hits the net and someone has to actually pick up the ball!

Strategy stopping, but still trading as I can see the Total Gain changing.
I’ve had Strategies ‘stopping’ before, but when the market is closed.
A quick estimate of Rejects so far for this Strategy > 150!

I have been experiencing the same problem for the last 3 hours. I tried to close all positions and it got blocked. The 9 DEMO strategies are “closing”…
I have tried to reset PRT and close the positions from the IG platform, but nothing works.
It happened to me before with 1-2 strategies, but after 10 min, it finally stopped.

I ended up with a cross (like on manual trades) alongside an Auto System so I clicked on it and now I have an orphan / manual type trade that I can do nothing with!
The Auto-System is also still rejecting every 10 seconds! Let’s hope that have a flush through at some stage during the night?
I’ll see what transpires in the morning.
Yes, that is my same hope. I thought sending a ticket to IG to reset the account or fix the problem, but I don’t think they will pay much attention to this.
I will hope that the system has, as you said, a flush through at some point during the nigh. It happen before to me, but it took, 10-15 minutes to go back to normal. Now I have 12 strategies stopping, but still trading.

Two strategies on two demo accounts stopped for me tonight with orphaned trades. At least there was a new reason why that I have never seen before to make it mildly unusual.
