If you authored the code today then you would optimise variables so why not optimise the code that was authored last year, 2 years ago etc?? Why use code that was ‘set up’ for Price Action 2 years ago when that Price Action is not happening now / today / this week? This is why we need to optimise regularly … when performance drops off.

I tryed the algo with the optimisation, tks you, it’s goods to understand, sometime time have an entry for exemple at X price, and the TARGET %PROFIT is at 0.3 so +0.3% the trade is closed, but if we let the trade open we can win more While the stop loss is not even touched,

Maybe, but can you sleep soundly if when you went to bed your trade was in a 2% (for example) drawdown / loss?

- if the 2% of drawdown on my trade, if it was a pre-calculated risk also there is no problem

Easiest way to understand code is to run it in Demo and use GRAPH of the conditions and then study the price in relation to any Indicators which are part of Conditions etc etc.

I don’t understand your meaning about using graphe, I’m already using graphe and can see entry and exit price on the graphe, and I’m using my real account disconnected from IG to do the back test, maybe they an other way ?
also if you can share some working strategy for dax or other indice like nasdaq or sp500 for study it and why not inprove it
