What instrument are you backtesting on and what position size are you using?

IG have been upping min pos size recently on backtest.

I did a quick comparison on the 1m. Not aiming at the highest payout, but taking gains faster, I have the trailingstop at 0.333 instead of 1. To see if there’s a difference for long or short use the code in the trailingstop topic where I splitted it. I like to use the same for both though.

Stoploss 1.5, no weekend position. tradingtimes ma-vr 4h-23h, friday 4-213000 & close 215400. Also changed the startingtime of the mri indicator accordingly. Results are then almost the same.

Would you mind sharing the itf file for your 1 min version? I’m trying to match it following your instructions but I get very different results. I’ve tried changing to your timezone too but with no luck.

Has anyone tried using the vector code to calculate angle for other indicators? eg ichimoku. Anybody have the angle code in english?

There are about 20 versions newer than above and all for the 5 min TF … click on the link View All Attachments at the top of the page and you will see flippin LAAWWDDSS mate! 🙂

hi why not try 2s and use v3p5 with of course a much faster profit-taking & a small stop loss ?

I don’t expect much from it, but it had a few good days.

the one already posted, v3p5 with other settings.

sl .2 , pt .2 ts .1 and vectorial 120,60,15,15 angle 25. No mri, no stochasticrsi, no reversal exit, 8-21h and used total price in the vectorial code

Normally on 2s tf, good results go down quick, so that that doesn’t happen is good maybe more can be extracted. Let me know if you find other good interesting settings please.

TF 1m or 3m ? Now I used in real v3p5 with your set….for me is ok….this weekend I try to find new setting for TF 3m…if ok I share here..thanks..emanuele
