Well i lost out on some good profit yesterday… damn that sucks, both algos closed after 22 seconds, wouldve been 400€ ish in profits, not huge but annoying as hell.. I dont need support i just want to rant lol. I have in general been very happy with prorealtime but stuff like this is unacceptable and it needs to be a thing that happens once a decade not once per quarter. I believe it wasnt too long ago issues with at least CFD trading via IG. Now it was futures with IBKR (and logging into IG i see “technical issues” message there as well)..
PS been in contact with them via sending reports through PRT and getting emails back saying “we’re sorry and working really hard to fix the issue”

Do you get Reasons for Stoppage with IBKR? If yes, what were the reasons?
Error while starting the trading system. Close any open positions and cancel any pending orders on the instrument which you want to execute the system on and try again.
Had multiple accounts, enter and closing trade after 22 seconds and this was the message. Contacted PRT who said so sorry we have problems, working on em

I had exactly same on the same days (thursday and friday) as you on futures. I had the same for few days last summer, and I assume the issue was/is recently same like last summer since the “symptoms” are exactly the same. and PRT was telling that time the issue was on IB side, some IT issue, something like: PRT does not receive order confirmation from IB (for exit order/s) – and in that case they close the open position for “your protection”. ok, technical issues can happen, but the ugly part is that there is basically no communication from PRT to clients. I received some message only after I contacted them last friday myself. they were telling yes they recognize the issue, and I should not restart the algos until they confirm issue is solved. today there is still no message that the issue is solved still, no updates at all. I am curious when they solve it resp. if they ever issue that message. this behaviour from PRT was unfortunatelly exactly same when years ago I was trading CFDs: you report the issue, they promise solution, but you possibly never hear about solution being implemented. therefore I was even stopping opening the tickets, since no use anyway. what a service…
