update
The “fresh” tag before topic title identify new topic opened within the last hour. Quite useful if you hit “refresh” many times a day, looking for new conversations in forums.
@everybody
Do you have sometimes wrong redirection to another topic when you post into the forum? I know some of you have already report this bug, but since it is quite sporadic, it is hard to fix this issue. Thank you.
Yes, it still happens. But I cannot tell under which conditions. Maybe when quoting something ?
Thank you. I think I just found where it comes from, something is wrong in my ‘similar topics’ function. Hard PHP debugging afternoon.. 😐
This problem should be fixed now!
I am often attracted by topics’titles and click eagerly on that post just to read a disappointing UP!
I would never EVER answer such posts, unless to criticize them.
I know it’s really difficult to automatically identify, and hopefully delete, because it can be written in hundreds of ways, but I encourage Nicolas to study a way to develop a strategy to achieve this.
What is most annoying is that authors don’t even take the time, with some extra effort, to add something new to their previous post to attract readers and possibly answers, the are just saying “hey guys, I don’t care why you don’t pay due attention to me, but still I WANT it!”.
It lacks respect to all members!
Totally agree with you Roberto. The best way to avoid this, should be to allow posting of message with at least X words. I just add a minimal length of 10 characters for each reply.
Sorry Nicolas but I couldn’t resist writing that last post! Please feel free to delete if you want to.

I know very well that I am surrounded by very intelligent users.
…and hopefully one day some of their intelligence will rub off on to me!
I’d like to add emoticons, just like most intelligent members do, but can’t find any button. Am I missing something?
You can try with any of the examples in the attached picture.
