Please follow these simple rules when posting:

Jokes apart, this is a good idea and even include a box to be ticked as read and understood.

Even existing members who fail to observe points 1 to 8 could / should receive an email as a gentle  reminder.

There already is some basic guidance but I guess no one reads it.

Maybe it needs updating a little and maybe the title needs to stand out a little more. Other forums use something like:

***** IMPORTANT – Read This BEFORE Posting Anything! *****

Not sure if that means more or less people read it but it might be worth a try.

Over to you Nicolas but I would suggest maybe not adding anything about horses heads in beds or duffing people up.

might I even suggest an improvement to No 5  (and show as red text in the rules) …

    5.    Do not cut and paste PRT code into your posts without using the ‘Insert PRT Code’ button (far right button on tool bar)  to make it readable for others.

I am reading to see if I break any of the rules! 🙂

    Done! Good point.

Now you just have to do it for every different forum section of every different language!

don’t miss my post two above as Vonasi posted as I was editing

If not red text then bold would be as effective to stand out?

Reason – users do not know / cannot see / don’t want to see  the Insert PRT Code button so they need to have their noses pushed into it! 🙂

Would it not be more logical if  new Favourited Topics are listed at the top of the Lists on our Profiles (instead of at the bottom as currently)?

It’s no biggie if it’s a lot of work?

    #88683

Good point, and not big stuff, let me look at that 🙂

Done, the topics are now sorted by the most recently favorited one at the top of the list.
