From experience I know that a lot of people do not want or can not share for free on our site. I can understand that the fruit of long hours of work can not be simply given for free without any counterpart! Many trading professionals have their own trading tools or techniques and can now, thanks to the marketplace, share the best of what they have to offer to the large community of ProRealTime. I announce you that in the coming weeks, the new website “ProRealCode Market” will open its doors. Registrations are open for our future “sellers”, wanting to open an online store in this new website to come. Products available for sale could be: automated trading systems indicators market screeners manual trading strategies online courses private training ebooks related to trading (non-exhaustive list and subject to further modification) If you wish to join the project, please send me an email at market@prorealcode.com with this information: Your Name and Surname, a quick description of the products you would like to sell with, if possible examples in pictures, internet links, … I will get back to you as soon as possible. I was talking about the fact that products sold on the marketplace are installed directly on your platform by using a license code. If this feature is not enable in your platform (add a product from the marketplace), then it is useless for people to buy products 🙂

Products bought on the marketplace will be usable for both PRT versions (10.3 and v11).

But, of course, due to coding language requirements, some products are only compatible with v11, in this case it is tagged on the product page (view attached example).

I’m confident about a pre-opening next week. We’ll see! 😀

As usual, PRT will carry out its version updates in waves, i.e. the first customers served will be PRT Software customers, then PRT trading, then all B2B (including IG of course). It goes without saying that the automatic trading products will not be available immediately in the shop, I don’t want people to buy products they can’t use immediately (automatic trading is only possible with IG/Sponsored account software versions).

I just test V11 on demo account and export a algo itf file with protection, but this ouput protected file still cannot access at auto trade (only can access backtest), so what solution if I want rent my algo for customer?

Not sure why you ask this question in this thread, but if you are featured as a vendor on the marketplace or not, the ProOrder program must be code visible. The common solution used by programmers is to localize the trading signals into an hidden code indicator.

With the marketplace and the licensing tool available for vendors, when a customer buy a product, he will install himself the product on his platform with a license key. When installing a code for automated trading, the called indicators (if there is any), will be also automatically installed, but will not be visible to him, in his indicators list in the platform.

Still not open yet. We have added features for both users and vendors (in beta testing) during the last 2 weeks. We have also extensively checking the payment process to be in accordance with the European SCA rules that will be enforced on the 1st of January.

Don’t worry, you will see new links appearing in the menu when the marketplace be operational.

Sorry, both in the website main links bar (the link to the marketplace will be next to “Help”) and in the platform! A new button will also appear in the “Indicators & Trading systems” window in your platform.

Hello, i have a question regarding making money from renting out the algos. In my country i cannot manage other peoples money unless i get certified, im just wondering if you guys have any insight as to how one should “categorize” profits from this? Is it “renting out educational code that anyone can use for whatever their own purpose is” or is it more of a “Renting out code that makes trades on markets etc”?

In other words, do you know if its legal for me, in my country (or other EU countries) to rent out my code for others to use for trading?

Would love any refereals / links to anything that has to do with the laws around these kinds of things! 🙂

Can you elaborate a little bit more on what you exactly mean by this ? I mean, how would this (“Marketplace renting out”) relate to manage other people’s money ?
… But if your question focuses on exactly that, then I would say that this is not about managing other people’s money at all. But you would make money on it anyway …

Renting a software is not managing other people money. The program is running on their own accounts, they have the plain control on how / when to use it. ProOrde codes are also in readable format (source code available).
