    nicolas look at my screen
I’m in 200K, I zoomed in to do the backtest and zoomed out afterwards

another thing when I do a backtest it tells me that my position is closed at the front candle.
look at the two screenshots the stops are staggered

For GraHal well agree that life is too short to create worries… that’s why I’m trying to fix this pb which is very troublesome reading my charts since I do not see them evolving and I must constantly relaunch them to see their evolution. Regarding the “Dummy” function, I do not know it especially, I could “scratch” on the internet to insert it on my programs but I do not think that it is my programs that are involved but a problem of setting the platform. For all of you and to help you try to solve my problem, I put in attached file a screenshot of a very simple program of 2 cross-references of moving averages with in version 1, the probacktest with the variables being optimized, in version 2 , the probacktest with the defined variables

DO NOT use a language other than that one of the forum.

If everyone would always use two or more languages it woukd be a huge mess!

I I used the automatic translator to translate it (but it made a bigger mess!).

    Thank you 🙂

For the attention of robertogozzi In summary, for the following posts, should I write in French or in English, knowing that all the replies in the queue are in French? Thanks for your feedback

    #199606

Regarding the “Dummy” function, I do not know it

Do as shown on attached – ensure always optimisation button is checked – then click on probacktest (at red arrowhead) …  let us know if the line does not show when optimisation has finished?

    #199609

The language of the selected forum.

People sometimes happen to write in a wrong language in the wrong forum; it’s a mistake and can be corrected. But writing the correct language in the correct forum (your first post) is a CHOICE, then replies in the same language arrived (correctly), then suddenly the language was sometimes changed, and THAT can’t be done.

Double posting is not allowed, to start the same topic (or quite similar) in French.

The solution could be to close this topic and start the same one in French, but some who chose to join this one owing to its language might not like that much!

In the end… it would be much better to keep posting HERE using the English language.

    Thank you 🙂

    a l’attention robertogozzi

Well understood, so I continue the conversation in English

    For GraHal

As advised, I introduced the “dummy” variable on a probacktest: At the end of the optimization calculation, it offers me a graph without a vertical bar .When I validate the value “1” of dummy, the vertical bar appears…
Unfortunately, that doesn’t solve the problem…

it has been a few days ago that there is this problem …. unfortunately it is not solved.

It does solve the problem … do NOT validate the Dummy … leave as I stated below.

The Dummy is not used in the code so it makes no difference to the code whatsoever, but it does get rid of the line as long as you do what I state below (i.e. do not validate the Dummy)

ensure always optimisation button is checked for DUMMY –

To better explain what the problem is:
Opening the chart the strange bar is formed that blocks everything that happens after …. The Live in ProOrder works perfectly, so you have to continually reopen the chart.
These two are the same system that works in live and the chart is locked, so no position opening.

    Thank you GraHal

I have also just tried on different probacktests without validating the optimization. Sure enough, the bar disappears. On the other hand, when I close the platform, after having saved my space, I must, during a new session, reload all the programs which no longer appear because there is an optimization variable in progress. It’s really not practical.

It would therefore be necessary to find out why this bar occurs on all the charts at the same time. a platform setting problem, I suppose… but which one?

Here is the continuation of the operation of the trading system … the Live works the graph (backtest) blocked.

    #199624

Now I have opened the chart again and the operation is open, but from here it re-locks ….. instead in the LIVE it is still open.

    #199632

I have reported it, did you?
