The Issue of code from this website  being sold on MP (or even other Seller websites) is not likely to go away so I have an idea / proposal …

Revenue from sales could be shared with original code Author in relation to how much the code is unchanged, changed or added to etc.

The minimum, Seller should get is 50% of sales revenue, as after all they have taken the inititiave to sell on MP etc.

Another option could be … Sales Revenue could be donated to charity, so then this removes any ‘argy bargy‘ re % of code changed, unchanged, added to etc.

Just an idea for discussion maybe?

Without naming a name, I personally find it unfair to find my own code copied by someone under a different name on the marketplace. But there is nothing you can do about it. Everyone should be fair enough not to sell public codes. They are there for everyone. I just hope the helpfulness of the forum does not suffer.

Hey guys, I’m taking a few minutes to answer you from my bed (I’m a bit sick, need some rest!).
Concerning the products of the marketplace, the “Terms of Services” for sellers expressly stipulate that it is not possible to offer products for which a free version exists somewhere else on the web (of course, when I asked to add this clause to the lawyers who drafted the contractual documents that bind the sellers to the marketplace, I had in mind the free codes available on the site).
This partly answers your questions about products dishonestly copied and sold on the marketplace (that won’t happen, the technical review is done by yours truly 🙂 )
