I came on here because I am at my wits end with exactly same problem as you are having … the Pro-Order Running Systems Window not showing Systems running but the Systems are running as I can see them on the Chart and in IG Interface.
I am on 3rd or 4th email in a chain of emails with PRT Customer Service and it’s going from bad to worse as she does not even yet seem to understand what the problem is.
I sent a Help / Tech Support Ticket and ticked the box for PRT to access my code and of course the Tech Support Ticket pulls all screen shots of what I had open at the time I had the Issue. But then – to explain / illustrate the problem – I had to separately send to PRT loads of Screen Shots … it hasn’t helped because she seems even more confused now!
I am going to raise another Thread with above info on. I know we are not supposed to duplicate info but this Thread is not the best for this issue but I wanted to let you know David that I am having the same issue.
Like you, I feel like giving up for the Summer (sell in May and Go Away) and hope when I come back the PRT Platform is all sorted!?

I have tried many short time frames and they dont really work but for the past 6 weeks I am using a weekly timeframe for the FTSe and PoundEuro with 100% success rate on CFD but early days yet now trying Wall Street as well from next week but if FTSE and currencies work I will gradually increase contract size and thaybis sufficent for me woth margin abouy £350 per contract but only looking to take 7.2 points (£72)and similar stop loss not a bad return but spent hours backtrstong and running demo the latter really important as short time frames look good in theory on backtesting but not in practice hope this helps

So you talking about Manual or Auto-Trading in your post above?
I know you mention backtesting, but thought you may be be trying out a Strategy and then trade it Manual maybe?

I make a profit over time so far.
Tradar only DAX short time frame(1-3 min). No big money but it´s because I take small positions.
Will maybe increase after the summer.

I live on my manual trading so I make bigger profits there 🙂
The manual trade take place on DAX and OIL only!
It is the automatic trade that starts to better and better which is fun.
An update since I last posted many months ago in this topic. I have run a number of algos since my journey began but I now run only 4-5 algos. Some just didn’t perform well in live testing. Most are very simple, 10-30 lines of code and nothing below 15min TF. These have panned out well over the last few months so I will keep them going. Some are ideas from the Library but nothing that I run has stayed in it’s original form, I have put my own stamp on it along with collaboration with another trader. I have easily spent 200+ hours, 1000’s of backtests and IN/OUT samples getting to this point! It sure doesn’t come easy…
