Hi,
I want to create an excel spreadsheet for stochastic with the following settings:
Nbr periods=14
%K Nbr periods=5
%D Nbr periods=5
Method = Exponential
Apply to =close
I am able to test method ‘simple’ (I am guessing that is a simple moving average). What is interesting is that my spreadsheet doesn’t match prorealtime data but it is very close which is OK.
I would appreciate very much your help for this spreadsheet with the above settings.
Regards,
Petru
Hi again and A Happy New Year to all of you,
Does anybody know the formula for stochastic with these parameters?
Nbr periods=14
%K Nbr periods=5
%D Nbr periods=5
Method = Exponential
Apply to =close
Thank you very much,
Petru

I made an example with your data, format is .ods (libre office), you should be able to import it into exel; formula is german but I added translations on top.
Check it if it fits – oh, forgot to add yellow fields are the ones where you put your periods in (to play with it).
If you have questions, just ask again.
Thank you very much AVT. Now I can move on with my project. I really very appreciate your help.
Regards,
Petru
