It is his what you are not seeing ?

    #194291

Yes and No … sound like you now!! 😉

What you show is the Price and Time for ALL Algos running in ProOrder.

What you show does keep disappearing for me when I do certain actions (see my earlier posts).

But also what I want to see and what I always do see (up to today) and what you might never have seen (and others also??) is the executed Order info (Price and Time) JUST for the Algo running in backtest.

    #194292

As in attached indicated by red arrowhead … for the short taken by the Algo running in backtest (see equity curve and short position),

    #194294

Too difficult for me to understand …

What I showed previously was the executed data of One Algo, running Demo-Live (it just caught more orders there because of zooming in).

What I show below is the executed data of One Backtest.
(you seem to differentiate the two types, so I did now too)

All I know is that I always wanted to see the Gain on Backtest executed orders. I never saw that. And you are not telling that you always saw *that* ? nah …

    To be sure :

What you show is the Price and Time for ALL Algos running in ProOrder.

Depending on what you mean by that, I only have one Algo running in there, and thus I only showed ONE.
    BZZzzzz

In your first post (or so) you showed a red down arrow without data. If that is your issue, then I don’t have that issue (that I can see).

    #194297

As in attached indicated by red arrowhead … for the short taken by the Algo running in backtest (see equity curve and short position),

    OK, I can do that.
What’s up next to try ?

    #194299

How come the settings shown on Image 1 only work as shown in Image 2 (when > 1 Algo is showing on Chart) but settings in Image 1 do NOT work when ONLY 1 Algo is showing on Chart … see Image 3.

To me it seems that you make a mistake there. Not that with that all is OK again, but there you show two Backtesting Algo’s and compare it with one Live Algo (Red Dwonarrow not showing price data).
And thus I kind of repeat : you issue could be with the Live Algos.

    #194300

Both attachments are with 1 Algo running in backtest.

Note the 1st image shows only the executed for that 1 Algo.

2nd Image  shows loads more executed orders from my OTHER Algos running in ProOrder.

I recall you saying that you never run any in ProOrder? You ony run 1 Algo on backtest-Live??

    EDIT / PS

To get the 2nd Image, I enabl3d the settings shown in image 3

    #194305

Aha I’ve found a workaround now now for when the info shown on 1st image disappears / can no longer be seen by hovering.

The work around means I (now) don’t have to keep Quitting and Logging back in!

Work around is … close the chart and then open a chart from ProOrder by clicking as indicated by red arrowhead in 2nd image.

    Phew … I deserve a stiff coffee now! 🙂

    #194312

    OK, I can do that.

I always could also, but from today – after me underaking certain actions – the hover info disappears / is no longer showing.

    #194321

Workaround is click as red arrowhead on attached (image in 2 posts above was wrong).

    #194323

(Entry arrow is actually an Exit).

I agree, I noticed similar oddities months ago, but didn’t have the drive to post about it, but now we are on the Subject!

    See attached …

    1.    Short Exit is indicated by a pink down arrow.
    2.    Short Exit should be a pink cross / X?
    3.    Hover info shows a Long Entry with a blue up arrow and a Long Exit with a blue cross / x.
    4.    However, the Long is still trading as can be seen from the position higher up the image.

I recall you saying that you never run any in ProOrder? You ony run 1 Algo on backtest-Live??

FWIW : Today (and not at any other days) I told that I ran one Algo on Demo-Live (which per your definition would be “ProOrder” ?).
Forward Backtesting is also with one Algo, if that is what you mean to ask.

I never have more than one Algo running in any instrument’s chart because I would not be able to follow (?). So somehow this (running more than one in a chart) must be related to your issue.

2nd Image  shows loads more executed orders from my OTHER Algos running in ProOrder.

I now finally understand what you mean. So this is about the FIRST checkbox in that settings form. I did not even know it existed !
So I have only one Algo running in ProOrder (confusing name / definition !) and I can let all 3 related settings work (the first need to be active anyway, of course).

GraHal, believe it or not, but you never showed an example with more than one Algo running (Demo-)Live, thus with red and green, showing that data. It would be good if you did, supposed someone from PRT is going to look into this. Ahem.
Unless I missed it, you showed :
    – A Red Arrow without data
    – Arrows and crosses with other colours with data (these are from Backtests).
And for the examples you had to show different instruments (I am pretty sure ?). So it can be the instrument’s chart of concern as well.

Now I am going to cross myself over to a beer. 🙂

Unrelated : So that first setting seems to be related to being able to backtest without being confused by a 100 other Algos running “live” and all their arrows and crosses. OK, good to know !

    #194330

    SATOTAGE !

I am sure you won’t believe this. No wait, you will.
    Nothing nada anywhere !

Now let’s see what did I do :

For starters I left open that Settings window over the course of  my last post. The settings were all (3) active as far as I’m aware.
Most 99% probably during this time (now 14 minutes ago) a forward backtesting trade happened; the Demo-Live Algo was stopped by me several hours ago (possibly this is not related at all). So in my case a trade occurred at 18:04 with the settings form open (this makes all other grey (!!!) and actually unresponsive).
I then finished my previous post, and flipped all 3 checkboxes randomly to see whether I could incur for the great Gra-Hal. I could not that I could see.
Then I left all in a IMO strange state, as I noticed that the 2 underlaying checkboxes remained ticked as I unticked the main one. Then I checked, et voilá.
But THEN I reopened the settings and attachment 4 showed. All checkboxes check again ? Nah, I did not leave it at that state. But anyway, now it does not work anymore.

DID I NOW DESERVE AN EXTRA BEER ?
And am I now doomed too ? (I will leave all in the state of “wrong” for the moment)

    #194335

This one runs in the same account (other chart/instrument) with a still alive Algo and Forward Test. Also stopped showing the data.

    #194337

    your definition would be “ProOrder”

Attached is what I mean by ProOrder.
