    Hello Guys,

ive been banging my head on IG for some time to have the option of Daily Candle close as 2200GMT instead of 00GMT.

In PRORealtime their is option to change timezone but im not being successful ive tried this many times got support form PROrealtime and IG but none is working.

Has anyone faced this issue and let me know how you resolved it

    Many Thanks

    Hi Fes

Put on here a screen shot of your time zone settings … it may help us to help you?

    Cheers

Seems that there is no Sunday candlestick with FXCM or it has been incorporated into the Friday one.

    Hi Fes

    You say …

ive been banging my head on IG for some time to have the option of Daily Candle close as 2200GMT instead of 00GMT.

But your screen shots of time zone settings show that you have selected UTC + 00.00 why don’t you select setting UTC – 2.00 ??

    Just an idea?

    Cheers

    This is how it looks

im sending you previous emails ive sent it to PRORealtime and IG both. Changing timezone requires restart of system

I had this settings as below and you can see the  daily candle difference in DailyFx and PRT. Even IG Mobile is displaying it incorrect where we dont have any timezone settings

But IG Mobile Watchlist calculate the Change, Change% correctly which is ironic.

It seems only IG is doing it all other FXCM,Oanda are taking 2200GMT as close

@nicolas most of the charts starts from 2200GMT Sunday as Monday open 🙂 if everyone follows one candlestick then its easy or else strategies reversal ets would go wrong PRT dont understand that or havent thought about this.

Other software ive used IRT Linnsoft or MarketDelta , CQG etc can do a lot of customization.

Daily Open close is one important thing and IG,PRT cant seems to understand its importance

It’s frustrating that there isn’t a universal daily candlestick in Forex and I wrote about it here. You should however be able to change the daily candle by the  Custom Time Zone as show in your attachments and also consider the checkbox with “Display Weekend Data”.

    @fesxeures

Do the solution given by David solve your problem?

    #19242

Ive asked a lot to IG and PRT and they dont have a solution so im keeping quiet

@nicholas if someone can post charts and the settings comparing daily from DailyFx and PRT chart then ill believe.

ive done all this and mouch more to get it to parity with DailyFx and others but nothing works. PRT simply doesnt support daily candles to start at 2200GMT.

    Hi Fes

Please confirm that you have ‘played with’ and tested out the Custom Time Zone settings to try and achieve your requirements?

    Cheers

    Hi Fes

Did you see the Thread below? Seems the guy did have Daily Candle close as 2200GMT instead of 00GMT.

Terrymac, the OP  has not commented since May 16, so not sure where you would go from here?

Nicolas did you ever give any thought to members being able to pm / private message other members direct?

    Cheers

The only other idea that came to mind was to manually code a 24 hour candle using 1 hour chart.  I saw that you provided some code to find the low/high for an hour in a 1 minute timeframe. Would this be possible Nicolas?

@Grahal @David 10.2 does not allow drawing. 10.3 is still distant in future as far as IG is concerned.

Their is a timezone feature in PRT but its not been properly tested. Ive seen other posts in IG and PRT members asking for this basic thing but its not been done.

this si basic Daily Open how can a big company like IG and PT can get it wrong is baffling to me.
