Change Daily Close on IG Platform 10.2 version to 2200GMT instead of 00GMT

  Yes problem when trading forex because it’s best to be using Eastern time and in my opinion with everything. The pivots especially should be set to eastern time and the daily candle should close at 5 pm Eastern. I’ve tried changing the timezones myself and you are correct its doesn’t work on the daily timeframe.

   

  Also you cannot change when the 4hr pivots are calculated from its automatically calculates them from 12 gmt 4 gmt etc…..

  @kajsy88 on otherhand you have one 4h candle closing every 2Hrs in London or NY

  IG PRT does not have OPEN column in their watch list. so we wont know whats the price at open unless we do Ctrl+D and then move mouse to the candle and then draw a horizontal line to remember it

  But do we have to do it for Daily,Weekly, Monthly yes all of them in all the markets  good job PRT & IG

  Hi Fes, just an idea, don’t shoot the messenger 🙂

  I know you will be well p***ed off with IG / PRT (I’ve been there, e.g. loads time wasted over the 0 bars Issue) but – if you haven’t already (?) – email IG asking is there a setting or an Auto-way to record the Open level etc. Say why you need it.

  Ask – in the same email – if there is no setting then can this be put forward to PRT as a improvement for the next Version.

  You may – as I did – get even more p***ed off for a while because IG operate a useless system for ‘monitoring of your submitted issues’ (users can’t see progress! doh to IG!) but then months later, hopefully, you will get an email (like I have a few times) from IG saying thank you for your suggestion, we are pleased to inform you … etc.

  If you email IG, then you have some closure on the Issue and you can move forward? Otherwise I can see you looking around at other Platforms and we don’t want to lose you!

  For info … please see the last entry on my Thread below … suggestion for improvement going to PRT within 24 hours of me raising it with IG.

  I’ve come to the conclusion that lots of PRT Developers may not Trade (on their own account) and so they need us to tell them where their Platform is lacking.  I’m sure they have a ‘User / Tester Team’ but there’s always room for improvement.

  @Grahal im not posting to IG for change rather than i can use some other advanced charting tools present in the market.

  If IG approves  PRT 10.3 comes then ill have option to automatically draw so i dont want them to do this stuff and then 10.3 is postponed.
