USD/JPY position disappearance bug

On July 28th, while using PRT with my FX account at IG Japan, my 2 short lots of USD/JPY were automatically closed by PRT without my consent. I was just placing a few buy orders for USD/JPY on PRT. I didn’t touch my existing USD/JPY short positions at all. Can you believe it? IG Japan stated that a bug occurred due to the order processing system change implemented on July 28th. Despite that, IG Japan refuses to restore my lost lots. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
