I tried to compose something for you which may be helpful for further determination.
First off, whether all is stalled or not is quite difficult to see these (last) days, because the updating of the “Dagwinst” does not work any more over the weekend. Thus, this shows as 0,00 at the opening (at our 00:00) and it stay like that for several hours. Now, (~ 05:00) it works, but it will be reset at 06:00 (if all is right – it was like that each day last week and is new under the new “US Times” regime that IG now uses). The reset moment is not much related, but the frozen gain of 0,00 may feel like stalling.
On a side mote : the daily gain now this resets at 06:00 (am) which also means that people usually won’t see what happening for profit over night. Today this is “massive” (when you were Long) but now at 06:30 it’s all gone).
Then, in the first picture below you see NASDAQ 1€ with 1in the left an old screenshot from after close last Friday (23:00) and in the right of that picture you see the opening last night at 00:00. The pending order at 24.188,7 was obtained up to the decimal at 00:00:18. You can see this in the 2nd pic on the 2nd line. Thus spot on.
Although there was more to look at during the opening (other accounts) I did not notice any freezing in the IG account.
In the 3rd and 4th pic (they belong to each other) it goes different. This is US 500 (SPTRD) and the intended price of 6.549,02 turned out to be an Entry Price of 6.620,02. So a miss of 71 points which is a lot in this case (my math tells me EUR 3.408).
Regarding the time of Entry (00:00:33 – see in 2nd pic first line) I don’t deem this slippage, but something stalled indeed. Point in this situation for me would be : both systems are the very same and only act upon a different instrument. So if one can do it to the decimal, the other should not be late 71 points …
Also notice that the Entry was there the second bar (thus see 4th picture in the right) and thus during the first bar totally nothing happened – however the bar was there. Thus, no prices frozen (which, again, I also did not notice during that period of time), but instead the typical behavior of IG turning manual (which they do at high volatility).
