the notification that they work on restoring when starting PRL for DEMO and Live enviroment is gone, so far so good 🙂
And maybe i missed it… but I still miss (just examples and only in DEMO) the 1 EUR version for DOW, GOLD, NDX , PXI, etc… EUR/USD is fully missing….
It is the same result on the web interface for IG.com (DEMO), while most of the once missing are available in the Live account.
How to perform good Backtests and even trying them in DEMO? Will these come back after the change two weeks ago? If not, use the once available (like 20, 100 EUR whatever) and “calculate down” how they would behave in Live?!!
Any comments or guidance will help!

The 1 euro mini versions of the US indices are not yet available. However, there are 1 dollar versions, and the backtests work with these and deliver the same results in the past. I have now started some algorithms in NS to check whether they work in the demo. If they run in the demo, then they should also run in live mode.
I see some of the instruments reappeared as choices, and can be used in back tests, however…
…if I try to relaunch some of the bots in ProOrder on DEMO, then I get the message.
“Automatic trading is not authorized for this instrument”
Messy situation all this… the change should have had a roll-back, and re-planning made…

Yeah, looks like the trade report’s back. What’s missing now is the Bitcoin/USD CFD (XBTUSD) quote. Don’t trade it much, but I like to keep an eye on it. Now it’s showing some random Aussie firm instead!

Live. I never use(d) Demo.
Regarding the “spread problem”, the second DAX 1€ contract with spread = 1.8 has now disappeared on the IG Switzerland platform, and there is only the 1€ contract left with spread = 1.4. How about France ? Without having an account there, on the French website of IG, I also see spread = 1.4 at the moment.
Seems there was some chaos on IG’s side, too.

Not for me, neither at the IG platform nor in PRT.
I can´t find it in PRT. Only the 1$ Version.
