I think none of the technicians use algorithms, so they don’t even see the problem or understand what’s wrong. I’m afraid this will be a problem that will persist for a long time.
Exactly, and no one gets epic + locale anymore. As they removed the instrument that got that issue.
It really seems like they have zero clue what is really going on.

I do really think they deleted the wrong duplicated system. So they think the epic+locale issue still remains.
I don´t mean the diffrents in the amount. The entrys and exits are diffrent. That´s the point.
I reckon that you have seen Nicola’s explanation on that ? Without further looking into things would agree with him. But – it depends on how your Targets etc. are set. Meanwhile I think you know your stuff, thus :
Can you set your Demo to the 1€ instrument too and again try ? if it is then still different we have another issue (at least for this moment).

Correct, my algos in Demo have also just stopped…
Upon closer inspection, the contract had changed from €1/point to €100/point…
The algo stopped because there were insufficient funds, which I understand… 🙂
When you read the latest update, nothing has been resolved yet (almost, by tonight, in progress, starting, updated in stages…)
Great timing as well, with the Fed’s rate decision just around the corner…
For @Nicolas FYI :
Maybe you have another IG platform or different means of PRT access through IG, but this (see below) does not open any instrument in PRT for me. What it does is opening the complete platform via what you see in the 2nd attachment (using that will close the PRT platform already open) and end up with just the PRT platform and nothing I selected.
But as others said, there are no different instruments (like 1$ vs 1€ etc.) to choose from within IG while in PRT a few more options are available (still not al) – but not for real because the base now is missing in IG (per my own interpretation).
So if IG keeps on changing things (it looks like it) how can the people from ProRealTime perform the Symbol Mapping ?
The big problem is only with the algorithms, so technicians should understand and focus mainly on this, but probably they know it but can’t solve it.
Live ones starting from €1 exist, but when you backtest them they have completely different results, often with significant losses instead of previous gains.
Try using the $1 contract instead of the €1 contract. the results are still littel bit different than the old one but much better than 1 €.
