Dear poeple,
My eye falls on this. This is IG’s US Tech 100 vs IBKR’s NQ (Nasdaq) – both seen through PRT. I have never seen anything like this. Both charts are 1 minute.
It would resemble people’s backtesting “anomalies”, though.
Edit : for S&P the very same thing.
⚠️since 18 GMT US indices feed messed up – cash+futs mixed🤯
If you were short US indices, that was the play of the year in a minute!

09/17/2025 at 7:47 AM #250978As Paolo mentioned, the backtest situation is a disaster.
It seems like they’re working 9-5 trying to solve this issue, but working only eight hours a day isn’t enough to fix such a major problem it seems.
Yesterday they said it would be resolved this morning, but I highly doubt it.
Why don’t they just do the same thing they did with the DAX? I really don’t understand why they removed the functioning market instead of simply re-adding it and getting rid of this untradable one.
09/17/2025 at 8:02 AM #250979Does anyone have an algorithm running live on the Nasdaq at the moment? Normaly my backtests are running with 1 € per point. And now…….
09/17/2025 at 8:09 AM #250981Spoke to PRT again, they said that the gap will be solved today but automatic trading systems end of the week. ( :
09/17/2025 at 8:18 AM #250982Backtest will be a disaster because (at least US Tech 100 cash 1€ and US 500 cash 1€) contain corrupted data at Sept 12 and Sept 16. The huge drop I showed yesterday also won’t help. Stop your backtest before Sept12 and I think it is fine.
My backtests as performed until Aug 7 in the past, just show as they did on that date. The $1 variants also have the gap at Sept. 16 but the anomaly on Sept. 12 I don’t readily see.
The $20 and $100 variants I can not find any more (in Futures versions, yes, but I don’t think we talk about those – anyway the gap on Sept 16 is present for the (Sept 2025 and Dec 2025 (!)) Futures as well. Thus, a clear case of corrupted data throughout.).Give it a try and let us know whether you now can deal with that. Side note : you shouldn’t be backtesting all In-Sample anyway, and you can just as well cut off early. For example, my own backtests (on all instruments) are performed until Aug. 15. This gives me a nice OOS hint to one month into the “future” (which for IG is not allowed to trespass Sept. 12, as it now appears).

- instrument not available, problem on IG side, we need a console report please
When I spoke to IG, they told me the instrument needs to be added by ProRealTime, and they’ve been saying that since yesterday. You are saying it´s IG’s side, while IG insists it’s ProRealTime. Do they even know themselves?
I’m not saying this to blame anyone—I just want them to have the correct information. The risk is that IG assumes PRT will fix it and does nothing, while at the same time PRT is waiting for IG.
Since you seem to have good contact with them and aren’t just going through the normal support line, maybe you could clarify this with them—or at least help point them in the right direction?
09/17/2025 at 8:32 AM #25098509/17/2025 at 8:34 AM #250986The hierarchical file is now working, and yesterday we verified that the scaling on the latest file is correct, so ProRealTime can read the data automatically as before.
All the new exchange IDs have been added to PRT, so the new markets are available, although I’ve seen a case where some indices aren’t showing up yet.
The historical data on the new epics isn’t all available yet, but they said it could take up to a week. For the missing markets, the issue should be resolved today; for the missing data, by the end of the week.”
According to this communication automatic trading should´ve been working yesterday?
