Pathfinder 4H for Hangseng works very well and delivers >60k HKD profit in 2017. The algo is well balanced and fit perfectly the current market heartbeat. Enclosed is the new V7 of this little beauty.

Pathfinder HS 4H V6 is a perfect robot this year. Especially the combination of profit and drawdown is remarkable. You are absolutely right V7 delivers even more profit but the drawdown is higher. If you reduce the position sizes in V7 this would also reduce your risk (from max 6 contracts to 4 contracts) and the profit in 2017 is 50% (90k HKD) higher as in V6 (60k HKD).

I run v7 on dax on demo and no trade so far
(i have also v7 dax running on 1 hour demo to see that it works and i had one trade so far 2 contract and it closed with a profit so no problem with execution on demo)

Yesterday 5 o’clock the Pathfinder HS V7 just stopped in the live account instead of switching from short to long (like in demo). The error report says “opposite risk positions not allowed” like the last time. Maybe Pathfinder do have a problem with the “limited risk” account.

V6 in live switched from short to long position in my small size account.

It seems that turning an existing position doesn’t work with limited risk accounts. I have adopted the trading commands accordingly:
// long
// close short position first
IF SHORTONMARKET THEN
EXITSHORT AT MARKET
ENDIF
BUY positionSize CONTRACT AT MARKET
// short
// close long position first
IF LONGONMARKET THEN
SELL AT MARKET
ENDIF
SELLSHORT positionSize CONTRACT AT MARKET

I have DAX,DOW and HS v7 H4 running on demo
dax and dow had a preloadbar issue and stopped?
HS still running and closed the short and now long
(i also run dax 1 hour v7 and no problems)
I experienced the same as Eric for the Dax version (preloadedbars issue). The dow version did not stop for me. HS switched from short to long yesterday.

preloadedbars issue is nightmare! I never had this problem with my versions and all my V7 are still running in demo without a problem.
