Trade opened in live, but dosnt show in backtest

  Hi all,

   

  Luckily this actually went the correct way, i managed to get a great entry on the last candle of trade in dow jones, market popped up sharp and stayed there for the full hour, got decent profit out of it!

  But looking at backtest, it dosnt take the trade, see photo.
  Im not gonna share this code so i cant really ask “why”, but i was wondering how often you guys experience this?
  Havnt seen it before but then again i have done 300+ trades last 4 months lol, havnt checked every single one.

  Is the opening on pending orders or conditions at close of candle? If pending then maybe the spread in real life was different to the backtest fixed spread.

  The close on the decision candle is very close to the high – is this a factor in your entry conditions as spread could then confuse this entry condition. Try the backtest with different spreads and see if you can get it to enter the trade.

  Found the error, it was on me. I copy pasted the code thats running live and it looks good now.. I can calm down now haha

  Meaning im a retard and must have done something to the code that fucked it somehow. Original running code looks fine tho.
