Does anybody else get this weird phenomenon?

I did not tick each box nor did I select the box at the top which selects ALL the running Systems, but often I find all my running Systems ticked … see attached.

Anybody know of any setting to stop this happening please?

    Hi GraHal,

I just looked and all my running systems appear as not checked when I open ProOrder. But if I check all them clos,e the ProOrder window and open it again then they are still checked. Can it the reason that you left them checked before?

It is as if I am doing something while using the Platform (on other windows) that makses them all ticked.

I untick them all whenever I see them ticked and always save on Exit, but they always seem to be ticked!

I will try as a trial exercise and let you know.

Did you examine your shortcut keys ?

And regarding that … *those* get assigned values without me knowing. Seem to be defaults after an upgrade. I saw that happening several times for the restore of Templates (like F5 – reaaaaaallly convenient – not !)

Your suggestion above has answered another annoying Issue for me already … I always wondered how I ended up on Interactive Cursor Mode at odd times.

The shortcut is set to I (only) to put me in Interactive Cursor Mode … how daft is that? Ctrl+I maybe, but just I !!??

    More news ! 🙂 🙂

I was reading your “I” feature, checking it a bit and I (first) notice that for the so-maniest time my “padlock” was open (see attachment). And I hate it to be open, because more than 50% of times when I click somewhere in a random chart, I click on one of those kazillion trendlines (and the popup for settings about them opens).

    And so …

So I just noticed that touching the I from your screenshot, opens that padlock (now obviously, but I didn’t know the shortcut). Of course this goes without notice as I don’t want to change anything about any trendline settings (except for fixing those settings where once really is sufficient) – I justed typed an I. So I save and exit the platform, et voilá. The padlock is open again and the next startup.

    Another mystery solved.

Btw, I just now also noticed that it requires clicking on the chart first, to let this I do its job. So click a chart (for whatever reason), type nice works with I in them (words go obviously no-where) and the padlock closes. Oh yea. It is now for the user to find out why the h*ck he suddenly can’t change his trendline settings (the default for the Padlock is Open, as far as I recall).

And hey, by accidentally pressing a T, I now also suddenly know why I so often have a cursor with “Text” attached to it. LOL.

Are we even ready for V12 ??
    Maybe not.

But is this now solved for you ?

I could not find any shortcut that appeared that it is responsible for all Systems being ticked.  I didn’t experiment, I just checked over the lists 3 or 4 times. This has been going on (for me) since v11.  I am going to wait until I see the Systems all ticked again (but not ticked by me directly) and then check the shortcuts again to see if I can spot the source of the ticking.

Uhm … I have them all checked as well ? I am so unfamiliar with that checkbox that I didn’t even bother to check those checkboxes until just now. I now suppose that this is so for everybody ? Anyway, I thus have them checked – I assume always. But this doesn’t bother me. I’d say that this checkbox is for the button “Start all” (“Alles starten” in Dutch). Thus, start all checked. But I never use that button (do people use that ?). I just unchecked them all. Awaiting the result of an optimisation, I will restart and see whether the same happens to me. Will let you know soon.

Yes, same here. All checked again after Save – Exit – Restart. I suppose people will know that this is about the second green button (see attachment). 2 checked – 2 systems to start. The default : Start ‘m all ! haha – better not

Yeah well this is what prompted me to start this Topic! I had 98 Systems in my Live Account! I added another System then realised I had position size set to 1, so I added another version with position size set at 0.2.  Then I unticked the size 0.2 version and left the tick against the size 1 version then I pressed delete!!!!!!!!!!  I then exited the screen and got on with more optimising. Above is something I have done dozens, maybe 100’s of times before. Then I could not believe my eyes when, later,  I went back into the AutoTrading screen! You are probably ahead of me now?  Yes you guessed it … 89 Systems in my Live Account DELETED!!!!! Why 9 left you may ask??? Well because the 9 remaining had error messages (see attached) and therefore I suspect were not ticked.  The only explanation I can think of is that the error message / not ticked Systems were listed directly under the 1 x System I thought I was deleting …  and maybe that is why I did not see (ticked or not) the other 89 Systems, but either way 89 Systems were DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either above is what happened or some other weirdness, either way I have lost 89 Systems from my Live Account! I emailed PRT, last Friday 7 Jan 22 (via their Contact Form) and nicely asked if my 89 lost Systems could be restored PLEASE? Nothing back as yet, I will follow up tomorrow after a full 48 working hours. So beware the ticked boxes … if it can happen to me then it might happen to you! 🙁

FYI : (all are checked, also the errored-out ones)

However, when I check one that has errored-out, it won’t appear as “Delete” (it is greyed out). See under the mouse pointer. Only when I select one which looks normal (2nd attachment) then the Delete button enables. So you can be confident that your guess is correct.

Also when ticked, the line or the whole screen (if ALL lines are ticked)  goes that kind of look as if having cattaracts, like a haze and the screen was definitely NOT hazed when I selected the 1 x System that I wanted to delete. So it must have been some kind of hiccup at the PRT end that resulted in me losing 89 Systems. I want my 89 Systems back, preferably still showing their historical performance  … surely this is not a lot to ask?  Only needs a check over daily backups and recover??
