    Speaking of haze … why is that second line down on my screenshot showing a haze? I have had this weirdness since v11 also.  I can’t deselect or remove the haze on the 2nd line down on attached.

    Dont get me wrong, I love the tick boxes … so easy to start and stop ALL Systems etc, but I only want Systems ticked when I tick the boxes (not on Auto at start up as you have found Peter).

    Only needs a check over daily backups and recover??

    What a disaster …
    (I always keep the sources of the running systems – you don’t have those ?)

    I just have been looking for 30 minutes (really) to find a response from 2nd line support, where I was guaranteed that I could ask for a restore of code of any day (it read as “infinitely” but that won’t be the case, I assume) … but I can’t find back that email …

    If the chips are down I will be able to find it, so let me know when you need that (for some kind of force). Anyway you can feel comfortable about the backups being made. This is not only obvious, but PRT is also happy to restore for you. Btw, this was not told upon me questioning that – it was just told to me as a friendly gesture upon a not-saved code on two separate computer systems, both on the same day (I just wondered how that could be).

    I think you will know you can do that on a list – and then for the instrument you have “hazed” there.

    Well yes, but I am not selecting / mouse hovering or any such manoevre on the 2nd line down on my screenshot … so why should it be hazed / highlighted  under such non-selected conditions??

    To prove it … see the 3rd screen shot where I am pointing with the mouse on the 4th line down and it shows a different colour than the smokey haze on the 2nd line!

    Not sure, but you possibly miss the point;
    That second screenshot (previous post) shows how to select colors for instruments. They appear everywhere – also in the orders list. This is how my orders list turned purple for the EUR/USD. Or red …
    Or your hazy grey … (on the Germany 40 )

    Yeah gotcha, to show a change of Instrument etc.

    I guess I am hypersensitive about anything and everything … until I get my 89 Systems back!:)

    I was working towards having 100 Systems (max on Live Account) and I only had 2 Systems to go!

    Then when I felt in the mood, I was going to start all 100 at once!!  I’ve had 80 running a week or two back.

    I just as quickly turn them off  (grandkids arrive, knock at the door etc) … which is why I like the tick boxes … Start ALL, Stop ALL.  I suggested the tick boxes to PRT a few years back; now the tick boxes have come back to bite me! 🙂

    Your comment re ‘recovery’ is encouraging, thank you!  I’ll let you know if I draw a blank with PRT.

    Please note that this implies that any changes you have made in the meantime on your platform (trend lines, workspaces, indicators, lists, ProScreeners, trading systems, etc…) will be lost.

    If you like to proceed with this, I’ll give you the phone number of local support (serves the UK formally), *after* informing them about this via the backdoor. Let me know whether I shall initiate this.

    Thank you Peter, I just emailed PRT with a change (to make it easier for PRT) from restoring my 89 lost Systems, to …

     

    Further to my requests below … I have an even easier way for the Technical guys!

    Please can my complete Live Trading Account XXXXX be restored back to 6 Jan 2022 at 06:00 (or 6 Jan 2022 at 00:01 if easier for the Techs).

    I look forward to a reply to confirm that somebody is / will action my requests PLEASE?

    I always wished to have an UNDO button in PRT. For instance each time I delete an indicator/strategy I am worried to delete something I don´t want to.

    That’s the editing Ctrl+Z button.

    TempusFugit meant a code and indicator UNDO, in case you delete a strategy or remove an indicator or a chart from your template, then want to UNDO what you have mistakingly done.

    No email reply back from PRT since 6 Jan 22, so frustrating!

    I decided that IG may need to authorise PRT to restore my Account.  So I sent in a Technical Report (via Help etc) with the following message …

    Hello

    On 6/1/22 or 7/1/22 I lost 89 AutoTrading Systems from my ProOrder AutoTrading window.

    Please restore my Account back to 6 Jan 22 00:00, or a time of your choosing as long as 98 AutoTrading Systems (or even 96?) show in the ProOrder AutoTrading window.

    I do understand that any changes I have made since the restore point / 6 Jan 22 will be lost.

    IG accounts are supported by IG; if IG needs help with the support they are obliged to provide, they will contact us, at PRT. So formally we at PRT can not help this customer from IG.

    Next …

    But let him send an email to broker _at_ prorealtime com, let him mention is handle “GraHal” so we will know it is him you’re helping and we will contact the engineers so they will pick this up and hopefully provide that restore soon now.


    I was told you’d need to provide your IG account, but your copied text from the earlier email virtually provides that, so OK.
    I mentioned that you asked three times by now but that nothing seems to happen. I did not mention that by now you also asked IG.
