  Hi to everyone,

  just for learning, I’ve made a strategy on crude oil (I use Interactive broker, tested on future CLXXXX light crude oil),   backtesting time in different hours. Strategy has been backtested from 2009; ADX has been added as a filter. My question is, nowaddays does it still make sense create  a strategy like this? Bias strategy are still alive?

  if yes, How is it possbile to improve it? thank’s

  Yes BIAS is working on CL, maybe not everyday of the week 🙂

  As you can see from the screenshot, avg trade is improved as well as equity curve,  anyway still too low for trading live, in my opinion.

  I think you should work on pattern filter and day of the week bias and try to improve the equity curve because as is it’s not good for trading live.
