Anybody else having loads of Systems stopped over night and this morning or is it just me?
The stopped Systems were running fine last week. I have Started them again and when next triggered they get kicked out again!
If it is just me, then maybe because … I have 1 System that says ‘Stopping’ but wont allow me to Stop it manually … maybe this is affecting other Systems and they are getting stopped as a result of this one ‘Stopping System’??
Damned annoying anyway!! 🙁
04/04/2022 at 9:01 AM #191133no problem here – 6 live, 8 demo all ticking away nicely (well, sometimes not so nicely but at least not stopped)

04/04/2022 at 9:55 AM #191138Thanks guys, it is maybe the ‘Stopping System’ causing other Systems to be kicked out somehow.
Just had a good idea … stop the Stopping System via the IG Platform, but no good as it is not even showing up on the IG Platfor due I guess to status as Stopping!!! It’s throwing up loads of Rejects … 5 every minute!
Think I’ll have to ‘bite the bullet’ and try stopping ALL Systems to see if that stops it!! ??
PS
Tried it … stopped the other 24 Systems, but it still left the one as Stopping!!!! Damn!!!

I am cracking my mind to recollect what I did when I had that once. But nothing comes from it.
At least I recall a situation (the same ??) that it had to run into its SL in order to kill itself. In my case this can’t have been TP because I don’t use that. For the very same situation I sure had, I 100% for sure remember that it eventually solved itself.
Recently I had a similar situation in IB (no AutoTrading) and I was advised to wait for the next day, because it would meet a Broker Reset (I am not sure when they happen for IG – somewhere between 22:00 and 23:00 your time ?). And indeed that helped.
About orders now being rejected ? For IB-DEMO (that *is* Autotrading) for several weeks all orders are rejected once they run for a minute (a so-called partial close which does not exist). PRT Support did not deem this important and this weekend I saw the issue is still there. Hooray once again for PRT. And careful, because new releases are thrown at uss again – March 30 for PRT-IB (IG still Feb 25 for me).
I’m afraid I can’t be of better help until I find my memory back (more beerz ?).

04/04/2022 at 1:14 PM #191168it had to run into its SL
My Stopping System had gone way past it’s SL as if no SL existed etc!
IG appear to have done something, or maybe it was the many attempts I had at killing it! The System is now no longer in the running window, but the trade is still open – like a manual trade with a red cross – but I can’t close it.
As you say … maybe it will dissappear at the next Broker Reset!?
