Can anyone suggest any idea if there is a way to detect spreadsize in screeners? Am running some screeners on stocks, spread varies from a fraction of penny to a big one….only want to screen shares with spread less than specified.

    Thanks in advance.

You would need to make up your own List (then screen this List) of instruments that suit your preference … but this would be a real chore!?

What I do is select a result from the Screener and (as you know)  a chart opens and then I look in the top right hand corner to see what the spread is and if too large a spread I say … forget that then … and move onto the next instrument.

Of course you need to take into account whether the instrument is in Cash Hours or Market Closed session (when spread widens).

It is not possible to detect spread size from within a Screener code.
