RENKO Trading help

    I really like to Use RENKO but PRT paints them wrongly on version 10.3 as they attach a time element causing then to sometime repaint which is not RENKO.  To try and get round this is issue with the RENKO charts not working I would like to code a straegy but not great at coding.  Can anyome help by suggesting code to do the following

     

    Going Long

    Once a green block (5pips) is indicated + 1pip enter long

    exit when a red block – 1pip is indcated

    set trailing stop on entry of 10 pips

    Renko charts on PRT are not repainting if you use the tick-by-tick chart, you can choose it in the dropdown menus of all the available timeframe at the top of each chart.

    Thank you, I have changed to tick by tick.  However, the units that I want to use 5units cannot be shown.  I would like each block to have a unit vaule of 5, why is this not possible?  Am I doing soething wrong?

    You mean 5 points for each brick? What is the instrument please?

    Nicolas,

    I have now sorted the tick by tick setting, which I use 5 pips. Thank you.

    I wanted to apply this to the FTSE.  Enter the market on a green block and exit the market on a red block and vice versa for shorting.

    I understand the strategy but it is still not possible to trade automatically the renko charts, the best way to deal with it is to use a simulated renko brick construction on a normal timeframe like we used in these examples:
